One of my mates was cruising and passed some nice women and looked round to see if they were checking him out - looked back round only to find the traffic had stopped and crashed into the back of a SAAB - after that EVERYONE was checking him out! :lol:

The Corrado is wicked looking - it really is. I really love the looks - I find myself rather embarrassingly looking at it all the time outside my work - much to the bewilderment of my colleagues. It is a gorgeous car and still blows away newer sportscars but I think that's due to the rarity of seeing Corrado's. it is a thing of beauty and the DeLorean thing cracks me up as I have always thought that my bee-sting should be connected to a Flux capacitor!

My C is a 2.0l 16v on a K plate and has a three slat grill but the recessed bonnet. Someone earlier said that all 2.0 16vs had the bulges - so what's the crack?

Been talking to PhatVR6 about the colour - it is pretty rare isnt it?

it will work off the switch but doesnt stay up after been switched. As soon as I stop it retracts. There would be no reason the operator at STAR would just turn it on though would there? Other spoilers didnt go up so I dunno.

when I tried it today the face was in the glove compartment - which I thought was weird as it did work at STAR. Dunno - strange.

Cheers VR6 - the wiring looks a mess will get that blue wire sorted.

Hey guys, Dunno if any of you can help me with this one but it's certainly an interesting dilemma. Since having my C the spoiler has only ever worked off the button and will retract as soon as I stop. At the Rolling Road day at Star on 30th November I was surprised to see the spoiler work on the RR - it extended fully and retracted again. Was trying to think why it would behave like this as it doesnt operate on the road and the only conclusion I could think of was that this would have been the only time ever it would have run at speed with the face off of the CD player. Thought that maybe it was somehow interfering with its speed sensing - so today I ran it without the player in and it still didnt work. Any thoughts anyone? Cheers G

Cheers Bally, Dunno what wheels to go for ideally 16s and something a bit different - want to see a lot of the discs and calipers. Know a guy with an Audi Quattro that has some nice alloys for sale - have been waiting for him to let me try one out. I would imagine that the four stud Audi would fit mine ok - just waiting to try them. Will let you know how it goes. Just gonna try and get a throttle cable now. Keep you posted. G

Bally - cash is a bit tight right now so nothing major planned. Need a new throttle cable and some new wheels first and foremost. If you look at the RR day photos you will see that one of my fog lamps is knackered too. Anyone got any suggestions on what would look good? PhatVR6 - would appreciate any new photos that you have just out of interest. Cheers G

the sticker on the wing lists the colour as Dark Burgundy - which I think is quite rare. Check out photos - p1010016 and p1010046 from the RRday pics for a better view of the colour. Anyone else got a similar colour? I aint ever seen one like it - was advertised as purple and wasnt the colour I expected when I saw it.

No bother Paul - I must say the team that restored those wheels did a mighty fine job too! The gold look didnt really do much for the car!

I have definitely seen them on Corrados before I got mine but not since. Would ideally like a new set of wheels. Anyone wanna take a stab at my colour - clue - it aint black!

Cheers Bally, Your's looks nice. Are they the standard wheels? I have no idea what mine should be like. Yours looks like it has the VR6 style bonnet - is that correct? But has the old grill? Mine is kinda like that too - apparently I have a mix of old and new style parts. What mods you planning? How long you had yours?

Got it in August. I am sure I have seen them with similar wheels but aint seen any since I got it - they aren't the standard ones though are they? It's a really strange colour - usually looks black but actually is a kinda deep burgundy.
