People look because they are still gorgeous looking rare cars. It take's something special to park next to you and show you up.

I have the larger one and have been thinking about going for the smaller one - funny how people's tastes differ. Would swap mine but would rather keep it in case I'd get sick of the small one - mine has a little crack in it too.

Didnt mean I didnt like it mate - it's discrete and if it's functional then even better. No offence meant. :)

2.0l 8vs seem to be going for a fortune but I think it's got something to do with their rarity and the fact that as standard they were decked out pretty well. A lot of 8vs are goregous looking cars.

Checked that out Biggrim and you are right they are pretty similar. I would mind getting some speedlines and adopting a VR6esque appearance.

Dan - just slid my switch into the other position and it completely stopped the fob from working! I dunno it's mad. Let me know how you get on mate.

Dashboard looks great Henny - where does the TV sit? The cd player position? Is it hidden or do you attach it? I aint too fussy on the RS bumper - looks a bit Bad Boyish to me. Do you like the styling?

What interior do you have in the back seats? Is it a black leather Corrado interior like the doorcards?

I like the Nothelle too - I like the lights - don't think they look terrible but wouldn't dream of converting mine to that arrangement but seeing a tastefully modified Corrado with those lights wouldnt repulse me. I think it looks ok - different but ok. Still sticks to the VW look.

Mine didn't have the armrest, first aid box or warning triangle luxuries until last thursday when I fitted my new interior! :D Although my standard seats were sports seats but hideous. Mine had a horrible grey interior with little flowers on the back of the seat - no joke! New black cloth looks much nicer. Pics of old interior are in my gallery and might be similar to interior mentioned above.

:shock: that is looking amazing man. Great colour, great wheels and amazing interior. Love the grill too - that's gotta be one the nicest modded Corrado's I've seen.

I dunno if mine is factory fitted but that was the impression I got when I bought the car. It's the exact same though - has a kinda CI logo in the middle with a line through it and on the back mine says - MPT 1340 WT LICENCE EXEMPT. Will have a look through my documentation to try and see if it's a factory fitted one - will get back to you. Mine has never given me any trouble although on the occasional morning my dashboard lights dim when I press the brake but it soon sorted itself out after a few minutes of driving - could be a drain overnight too. :? Just noticed that on my fob the button on the side that is serrated is in the up position nearer the red light than the keyring end. I always thought that it was just a release button for opening the fob - do you know if it's a button though for changing modes or anything? Don't see how that could make a difference really. Bit of a longshot. Mystified mate.

Car looks sweet - nice colour choice - aint a big fan of the front end styling but it gives the C a different look. Great job though - really professional. :wink:
