Any photos of the various types to let unfamiliar members see the quality?

you got an K&N 57i kit on it? I would recommend doing that. My mate fitted his himself in my garage - it was pretty straight forward and sounded cracking.

Especially for Jims16v... (Saxo vs M3)

That's wicked. Is it filmed at Crail? -
Ouch - hope you have a speedy recovery mate. I go spare when I cant drive. Even on holiday for two weeks I am itching to get home and back behind the wheel.

I just reckon the VR6 has more prestige about it myself - that why mine's a 2.0l 16v 8) and I would opt for the VR6 as it is more highly regarded - when I mention I have a Corrado most people in the know automatically ask if its a VR6. This is just my opinion but if I was to upgrade from my valver there would only be one choice - the VR6. Would love to drive them both though. Really fancy the noise of the supercharger. There are many threads on the forum concerning the G60 vs VR6. VR6 is quicker as standard but you can tune the G60 and play about with it more to increase performance but supercharger rebuilds after 60k (correct me if I'm wrong here) are costly. I know people who have spent as much money on their G60 engines alone that could have bought a good nick VR6. I would do as much research as I could and if possible drive both types to see what suits you more. Just make sure you get a sweet one  Best of luck! :)

Nice looking motor man pity you have to get rid of it. Maybe selling the private plate would be a good idea first?
-
Not fancy a VR6 for that sort of money? Do you specifically want a G60? If I had between 4 and 5k I would opt for a VR6.

looks good mate!

That flour and dog food thing was bad crack!
-
Car looks great man - better pics of the interior - you can see the true colour in them - doesnt look as orangey! Looks sweet! 8)

definitely. Not saying anything against it - might turn out that you and I are a rarity in the Corrado world - 2.0l 16vs with the recessed bonnet.
-
MARTINS? What is he a siamese twin? Avoid I reckon.

 was it of the Mark IV XR3i/RS Turbo stable? Mine was and to be honest - I loved it. -
Why dont we contact Top Gear and get a head to head going! Or is that too serious? We already know which car they prefer "what message are you sending the world when seen climbing out of a Calibra or a Probe...not good!"

Definitely. My last car was a Diamond White Escort  and it was a nightmare to keep clean but when clean or polished or waxed always just looked......well white really! -
Looks cracking mate. And no matter what you have been hearing - I like the interior!

Mine seems to be ok there but all arches have small amounts of rust bubbling before the lip. Check behind your arches as a lot of gunk collects here. Good pressure wash would help. Noticed when treating my arch that there is some kind of rubber protection  on the inner arch but mine seems to have come away around the area that needed treatment. I will be keeping an eye on all my arches carefully as what started as tiny bubbling progressed really quickly. 8)

Yours looks exactly like mine in your pics Phat. Dunno about the washing and polishing - would anyone recommend giving the car a good all over t-cut to bring out the colour or would that be a real bad idea? Got some new pics in my gallery Phat with my new fogs and I colour coded my rear badge - think it makes a difference! -
Cheers Bally.

Getting the photos now man. I have a 2.0l 16v and was told that all 2.0l 16vs had the bulging bonnet - mine has the recessed bonnet and I see yours is the same. Guess they were wrong. VR6Storm suggested mine had had some frontal damage and had the bonnet replaced. Seeing yours is quite a relief - guess there were some Corrados manufactured right on the facelift that have the old bonnet but new grill etc. Anyone ever mentioned this to you? Mine's on a K plate though.
-
I dunno mate - I have a hell of a time uploading attachments even following the pixel restrictions etc. Just wanted a swatch at another 2.0l 16v - like the green ones. Avatar pic looks nice though man. 8)

Forbidden to me too man. Doh!

My back driver side arch bubbled really badly recently. Bit the bullet and tried to sort it myself rather than dish out a fortune getting it sorted and it turned out really good. Spray tin from VW was a great match.

Finally - all polished from behind and with badge colour coded. Just need some nice wheels and I'll be happy.
