    A good tip that I was given that sounds mental but actually works really well is to remove them as best you can which will leave the glue on the side of the car. Then you get a jerry can of petrol and a rag and apply the petrol to the foam on the body and it goes really gooey and comes off so much easier. Was a bit reluctant to pour petrol all over the side of my car but it worked well. Was pointless though as I ended up sticking mine back on to prevent another dent! :mad:

    Aye my colour is right. See Bojmobile in the gallery - plus it's stamped on the motor! Most people do think its black.

    Apologies man - been looking at your photos. Car looks great. Can safely say that I have never seen my car looking so purpley though! Although I did get it late in the year and I am from Scotland so the sun is yet to shine on it. lol But that highlights why I started this thread - because I love the colour so much and it can look SO different depending on the lighting conditions.

    That looks like Blackberry to me. My colour aint quite as purple. Love that colour too though.

    My Corrado is Dark Burgundy Pearl and I dont really see that many that colour around. I really like the colour - it's one of my favourite things about my Corrado. So if any other owners wanna stick up their pics I'd be obliged - might give me some ideas too. Cheers

    I really like the colour. It can look so different depending on lighting. Dont see any VWs that colour now. Couldnt get a touch-up kit for it. Only spray tins.

    I've noticed some slight rusting :mad: on my back driver side wheel arch and wanna sort it before it gets out of hand. Trouble is that my car is Dark Burgundy Pearl and the paint match will be difficult and cant afford a full respray - any tips to sort it before it gets out of hand?

    Roddy has said that ALL 2.0l 16vs had the later style bonnet and the only explanation for my recessed one is that it had a front end bump - but I cant see any signs of that. My colour is kinda rare too and dont see any difference on any panels - anyone got any ideas?

    I really dunno man. My car mystifies me sometimes. Seems to be a total mish-mash of parts. Think it must have been right on the changeover. Anyone got any ideas about the bonnet?

    My car has a couple of wee dodgy bits too - found out that I couldnt even get a touch-up kit for Dark Burgundy so had to get a spray can- plan on just spraying it into a wee tub then applying with a brush and t-cutting to blend. Areas are only very small - does that sound do-able? Any better tips?

    I'm 24 - got my Corrado in August, before that I had a grey e-plate 3i that blew up on me and then a series two RST that was nothing but trouble but I loved them both. I am really surprised at the no. of ex XR3i drivers that now own Corrado's. Looking forward to 25th birthday for cheap insurance and maybe a VR6.
