My c was written off 2 month ago , the inspector came and looked around it and then within a few days I received a letter explaining it was a total loss . I then received a letter from the insurance confirming this along with a phone call explaining the settlement . I got £2000 less my excess and they asked if I wanted to buy the car back at salvage £270 they quoted . I declined as I have no time to break a car . I took off certain items to sell before the salvage firm collected and made me excess back by selling on here. It was 2 my first ever accident , the claim was sorted in about 3 weeks .

One if the best ideas mate when my C was written off I had to remove it to pass it in to some one else . I used it all the time !

It was intermittent , at first everything light up on key position 2 then when I cranked it nothing , thought it was my immobiliser , get car electrician to rip it out still the same . I change both the barrel and the switch in the end and it started . I could start it with out the switch connected to the barrel if you get me , taking the switch off the key barrel and using a screw driver to turn the switch . It's not hard to strip the column down to get the switch off to change or just to try and maybe eliminate that part of the system . If you search my posts I think I posted pics of the barrel and switch on the stripped down column .

Ignition barrel and ignition switch maybe I was getting no dash leds when turn the key and engine wouldn't start , just a thought
