  2. Been having a oil leakfrom the 0.3 bar pressure switch, managed to get one from unipart for £8 . Only took 10 minutes to change . Hopefully no more leaks !! Leaky switch on the right (blue wire) [ATTACH=CONFIG]48467[/ATTACH] Oil was coming up thru the top ! [ATTACH=CONFIG]48468[/ATTACH]
  3. cheers mate, was a squeeze like on the deck. Bolt wasn't that bad had a decent set of allen sockets came off quite easy :thumbleft:
  4. Had a ABS sensor fault on the dash(orange light), VAGCOM said front right sensor. Managed to get a sensor off ebay for £5 , thought i'd change it tonight and my trolley jack spatt all of its hyd fluid over the floor! Managed to change the sensor tho, kept the wheel on gave it full left lock. Bit of a squeeze with the car still on the deck but its all done and no more fault!!! for now . Sum pics below the old sensor looks well past it !   5. Mines going alright cheers, took it to vw for service straight away to give it a look over and change the coolant. I've got an abs fault which i've already scanned with vagcom and its only a sensor and a small oil leak from the 0.3 bar pressure switch, apart from that its all good, i love my vr !!!
  6. Did u buy from tcs ? i bought the blue vr6 one from tcs last month, how it running , i did like the colour when i looked at it at his place .

Hey mate the motor is so easy to change i changed mine the other day as i had mouse in there ! just remove the lower shelf under the glove box think its five trim screws (3 under the glove box and 2 joining the centre console ) , pull the shelf out and the motor is on the left . Pull the connector off and turn the base of the motor anti clockwise and it should come out of the housing . Take off the connection point off the old motor as the new one won't have one on, connect to new motor and re-insert !! and connect the plug boom !! as for testing it well you could just take it out and wire it to a battery to see if it is the motor other than that i don't know dude, Oh i got a new motor off ebay for about 35 quid , volksbits ebay shop
  8. It is standard apart from the exhaust which i think is a magnex box. Might get sum bbs rims off a neighbour, uprate the standard shocks with sum coilovers , nothing to chav. Maybe uprate the standard speakers that is all.. pulls like a train and i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!
