  1. Value of the vehicle will effect it without a doubt... in my experiece a Storm will be worth around £1.5K more than an equivenent VR!
  2. Got my new bad ass rims :D (still to be fitted)
  3. Blimey... that looks like fun! Good excuse to give it all a damn good cleaning too though 8)
  4. My G60 BBS used to take about 15mins a corner  They are lovely wheels but if you want an easy life then a set of 5 spokes has to be the way forward ;)
  5. Sitting in traffic on Friday morning and a guy next to me in his Prelude started saying how nice it was and was impressed with the good condition... asked if it was like a suped up version of the scirroco!?! I said kinda
  6. Thanks for your input! - I posted a link to a thread that answers his questions found using the words 'scratched window' It's not a black art...
  7. Use the search ;) http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... hed+window
  8. This should be an entry in Junes calender pics imo
  9. gottcha... still not a bad price considering!
  10. He wanted an extra £850 just to paint your A pillers and roof! Not sure about your figures...
  11. Nice to have you back Jim and yeah I hope you keep it for more than a year too ;) How's it compare to your previous C's?
  12. Well I'd deffo cut off all the remaining bits - it really doesn't look bad when done 8)
  13. I've done it on mine and it looks fine... have you got bit's already coming off?
  14. IIRC they're about £40 a side! If it's the rubber bit on the inner most side you can just trim it off and they're fine... 8)
  15. I'd go a bit further than keeping it standard tbh... not a fan of smooth roofs though! I think the smooth bumpers a good idea - you could also lose the pipe for a really clen rear... how about flushing the plate recess in the front bumper too?
  16. Glad you survived - it could have been a lot worse! In fairness your account sounds like your lesson is learnt and I'm sure you don't need to be reminded! Best of luck with it all... Phil
  17. Good photoshop skills... bit too rice for me impressed all the same 8)
  18. hmmm... might be worth a look - have you had a look through the 'cars for sale' section yet - there's some good VR's about at the moment for £3K and less 8)
  19. So long as it's had the tming chains done I'd say it'd be a good buy... what sort of money is it going for?

    Battery drain

Mine can't be left for more than 5 days without being driven... my guess is that it's the alarm! Currently in the process of running power down to my shed and building a battery charging shelf  It also doesn't help when I leave my interior light on for 2 days
  22. Seen a few cars with this 'look'... namely the mk2 golf 'turd' that was in PVW last month... Really stoopid if you ask me :?
  23. Nothing Jap or French IMO I'd be rooting for a Polo or a Lupo... although insurance premiums tend to be higher on dubs in general! I personally can't stand the Ford Ka(ck) they do nothing for me visually both inside and out... but at the end of the day it's all about what she feels comfortable in! Take her for a few test drives and see what she likes.
  24. Nice but not on a C IMO :?
  25. Blimey thats quite a big poo  We had a similar attack last year but whatever it was had been eating berries and decided to drop it's load over our cream patio furniture cushions
