The non GTI wipers aren't the Aero style ones though so you may find that they are still not what you want :?

I've got a brand new (from VW) bottom end and rebuilt head in mine - cost a lot but should last years... still need to get it running right but am waiting for winter to kick in before I send it off to Vince 8)

That new Aston is absolutely fantastic... 2 and a half year wating list though as they only have the capacity to make 2500 a year! I need more money :?

Use some timber planks to lessen the slope... it was the only way we could get mine on the ramps when it went in for the new exhaust a week ago! Nice looking storm by the way - bet you're well chuffed :D

The plastic round the units is silver on mine too... I know a few people have masked it up and painted it black to lose some of the bling and I've been meaning to do this with mine but haven't got round to it yet :? Look much better than standard though... it will just take a few days to get used to the change

I got pulled for my tinted ones with in 24hr of putting them on... suprisingly they didn't say anything about the smaller font though! I don't like german plates tbh... too many people have them and I think normal UK plates look better!

I found that I was able to push in the C's orriginal bulb holders in to my FK's and you can dremmel them if you want the clip bit to work properly (I've just put some tape over them to hold them in place) I wasn't happy about cutting the original loom as was worried that this type of thing could happen... are you sure you haven't got any of the wires/bulbs mixed up?

Careful what you use as I've seen a certain forum members Passat need a new headlining after a valet... what ever they used caused the material covering to peel away and sag quite badly! It's also been a nighmare for him to find a replacment so I hate to think what it would be like sourcing a C one :? Let me know how you get on though as I need to do mine too at some point ;)
