I´m having the same problem over here, although it´s a 1992 G60. Yesterday it was raining like mad! Lots of floods everywhere, but the car was running OK! Today, the ABS light won´t come off, even after a long trip, along with several engine starts. I still didn´t have the chance to look at this... My first bet is to inspect the ABS sensors and plugs? Cheers!

Nice one! I´ve been thinking about this for some time. Why? Because when i place the lever on a hot position, the next day i have the floor wet! :!: So i´m always running the lever on the coldest position to avoid this. The weather is getting colder, and i´m freezing aswell. Is there any explanation for this issue?

My advise is to buy the complete water pump (body included). The original bolts will brake when you attempt to get them off! Also replace the thermostat and o´rings.

Don´t worry about that extra dot. The rocker cover has a facing, which should be placed between the 2 dots on the camshaft. For the crank, you may guide yourself by the flywheel zero mark. The distribuitor has itself a mark for the rotor. Turn the engine by hand before that work, as the belt tends to slip one teeth, check it before starting up.

You´re retriming the leathers by yourself? Doesn´t seem like an easy job!

Well i´m looking forward to those pictures! -
I believe this is not the right place for this... Anyway, you may have mine for a bargain. It´s from a LHD 1990 VW Corrado G60. I don´t have a clue about it´s weight, as it´s still on the car... For shipping purposes, does anyone know how much does it weight?

Absolutly correct! :)

Is this the rarest Rado in existence today ?

I love that black zender / cabrio! :) -
Could this be related to a dodgy ignition switch? This used to happen in the past with my previous G60, i replaced the ignition switch, and the problem disapeared... I also had to wait a couple of minutes after the engine cut out, to turn it on again. I remember the last situation once leaving a disco, where i met a nice girl, and offered her a ride home. :luvlove: What a shame... LOL!!! :help: Oh... these Corrado´s are always playing with me!!!

Does this engine use a fuel pressure regulator? What about the vaccum hose up to the ECU? Is there also an idle bolt on the throttle body along with micro-switches? Keep posting! :)

I guess they could be... It would be nice, for buyers to confirm that the car they´re buying has an original colour. To be aware of foney paintings, they can see if the car´s colour matches the boot sticker that has the painting code written. So all posted pictures must include the colour code please! :)

Clean the pipe and hose with some brake cleaner spray to get rid of oil, before you attach them togheter. I´m pretty sure you´ll get sorted! :)

Nice pictures we´re having here! :)

Very nice colour mate! I haven´t seen this one before! 8) I guess that any grey colour goes nice on a Corrado. :D

I guess that 12.8v with all electrics on is good. My 65Amp alternator has the same behaviour.
