ISV's don't usually buzz loud enough to hear. If you hold the ISV you will feel if it's running, mInd you that's not always a sign that it's working OK.

Is that with limited mileage?
-
and they can crack between the holes if you have the drilled type. I had to return two sets after less the 1000 miles.
-
Good buyer too :D :D
-
Have you tried to replace the motor. They tend to get "tired" after a length of time.
-
Asda are selling this @ £1 for 5 litres

Good buy! There always seem to be bargains on Ebay. I've just picked up a mint set of VAG roof bars for the Golf @ £4.95 :) -
Is it the foam which has collapsed? I have a spare bolster if you need one? It's about an 1/2 hor job to do :)

Try your local body shop and ask them for some trim tape. The last time I asked they gave me two rolls for free :D
-
I thought you had won the lottery or placed a bet on Germany :)
-
I think it was £349, another Longlife franchise quoted £329 IIRC.
-
I emailed them for a quote about six weeks ago. If they had offered me the discount then I wouldn't have probably opted for the Jetex. Mind you it is a nice system :D
-
I have just had 12 smallish parts (including brake disc covers) media blasted and powder coated in satin black for £25 and a set of wheels for £100 if that's any help. I would have said £10 tops for a caliper.
-

Don't take the pith! Sorry!

Just had my renewal through from Norton (Heritage Classic) insurance for £184 which includes an agreed value of £5k, £50 excess and optional legal cover of £17.50, so potentially £166.50 :D :D This includes thier brokerage charge of £20, so how much are other companies making? I tried getting a similar policy for the Golf and the price more than double

Sell the new back box and get one which fits. You won't regret it :D
-
That's great. Thanks for the links they also give the size of the heads, pitch etc which is a real help. I have purchased few replacement nuts and bolts from VW recently and most of them seem to be standard steel items and not even zinc plated. Thanks for the tip although I'm not intending using any stainless fixings on the suspension or brake components :)
-
I am trying to replace some of the bolts on my C with stainless items. What's the best way to work out the size, can you do this by the size of the bolt head? ie 8mm head = dia?? Cheers
-
Fitted a new drivers seat bolster and treated the seats to a dose of Gliptone. Nice easy job. I now fit nice and snuggly in the seat again :D. I think I'm addicted to the smell of Gliptone
-
Looking good Andy. Did you get the wheels done locally? I've still yet to have mine done.

Pearl grey valver in German Auto Engineering Portsmouth and a matt black Corrado in the lay by as you exit Waterlooville.
