I have the Lidl one which has been in constant use for well over a year. Battery is always fully charged when I need it.

Just wondering who gives valuations so I can get an idea of what my plate is worth. Good luck with the sale.
-
Have you had the plate valued?
-
..mind you there are no symbols on yours so maybe it has been sprayed?
-
Maybe it was from a Passat as I think may have been the same (if they did them in black that is).

Tyres for Solitude alloys, will 195/50/R15's fit

It's worth bearing in mind that your tyres will perish if left in storage for a long time. I am on the look out for a similar size set of tyres if you decide to sell :) -
I would probably agree with the late ninties early 2000's when Corrados suffered very little depreciation and fuel costs were not such an isssue. I am not sure where the market will go in the future. It amazes me how strong the money is for MK1 and MK2 Golf GTI's even the standard non GTI spec MK1's are making good money. I was fortunate enough to pick up a one owner low mileage MK2 GTI about four years and it is making more than if I had put the money in the bank. This does not appear to be the same the Corrado though. I cannot complain about my Corrado's depreciation (approx £4-5k in 12 years not taking into account running costs etc), I would expect prices to rise as people return to the fold looking to relive thier past with a weekend toy. If I had to make the choice between the Golf and Corrado, the Corrado would win every time.

Is this the most bumped for sale thread ever on the forum :) maybe the price is a bit high.

Not used enough!
-
I feel physically sick.

Ah, my memory serves me well. I remember you taking me for a spin on one of the south Coast meets. Stunning performance!
-
Did you used to own a VRT?
-
Not the best garage I have seen by far. My advice would be to find another garage to keep both yourself and the Corrado out of harms way. The owner or landlord should ensure that any building which they lease is safe to occupy, pretty much in the same way as gas certificates are required for all leased premises. I would be very surpised if they have the garage insured to lease in it's current condition.

You could always tack some damp proof membrane around the area in concern if it worries you. It will help to stop water getting in as well if there any issues with leaks.

I have a mate who can make himself invisable. He usually perfroms this trick when it's his turn to get the round in!

Also as long as the asbestos containing material is not disturbed, in a good state of repair ie undamaged and not friable (potentially or signs of being crumbly) there should be no real issues. The chances are that you have already been in areas and buildings where asbestos is present - older buildings, barns. artex, lino floor tiles and a lot of schools also. The key thing is that you are not put in the position where you may potentailly inhale airborne asbestos fibres. I speak from experince being a Safety Practitioner who sadly lost a very close relative to mesothelioma very recently. The HSE web site will tell you exactly what you need to know :)

Yo are right. I think the last local meet was at the Fishers Pond, it was a good turn out too. The mini mini meets also fell by the wayside as it was just me and Toad who turned up! Let me know when you are back on the road and we'll get something sorted hopefully before the weather turns :)
-
A local meet sounds like a good idea Sean, perhaps when Andy gets his Corrado on the road.

£10 if you want arrange and pay for your own courier which would be cheaper than Royal Mail. Interparcel or parcel 2 go are usually Ok.

I have one in very dark charcoal grey (almost black). The carpet itself is in very good nick. The backing fibre support parts have gone a little limp though.

Looking better the more you do. Your effort is being rewarded :} Was that a two wheeled peddle powered Corrado which you were leaving on via Liverpool Rd Gate the other day??
