Thanks Henny! Your car looked very well in the pvw feature
-
no,. its the output side of the charger on the block, sorry
-
Cheers, i will throw up some pics of the wheels/brakes later on
-
i am having a strange problem, its a water leak that has just started its coming from the outpit side of the charger, but it only happens when its hot, i have yet to do some stripping of the car and see what the problem is. i am just wondering if its a common fault, like the vr6 housing? Any help appreciated, i would love it to be simple, but i know it wont be :( thanks
-
Wheels are great looking.......hmmm Car looks great, well done
-
Now i Have done some more bits :D I have the Ibiza Cupra R brembo's on with braided lines all round and poly bushed the whole car its an incredable differance that the bushes make, it is like a go kart now Eibach are getting a package ready for me as we speek 8)
-
Enzo, Koeninsegg and the Carrera GT for christmas thanks! no need to wrap them
-
yeah those cars are damn quick i would have to agree with kev on this one they are a small package but they do deliver, Pablo i am sure you have probably seen the car that cheesy got the kit from, it is owned by a lad from dundalk Damn quick car, and its getting quicker
-
the kit cheesy has now gave 220-250bhp in a 2.1 16v mk2 golf depending on the day you wont be disapointed
-
i knew i should have bled those brembo's

hi, i am using the abs sensor position to put in a sensor for traction control, i know no fun! I am using a dta ecu with teaction control intigrated, i need to get 4 wheel sensor disks fabricated, so i rekoned that i should use the original position for the sensor and just get a disk machined to match, has to have 32 holes in it since the vw ones have too many. only prob is my corrado doesnt have abs, so i am not 100% sure where to put the sensors, if anyone has any pics of the front and rear setups that they could load up i would greatly appreciate it, thanks

i dont belive it, they wont boot me off!!! i have tried, i tried drawing family members into the argument/discussion, but it didnt work  but i did realise that the 528 guy was at one of the club gti rr days over here and was down on power on the roller, not a happy bunney rabbit! oh i find it so funny and i know tony is from here, just not sure who, classic! it is one of those sites that will just die off, and i think its bandwidth is kinda knackered, so it will be sooner than later all i can say is that guy with the m5 should have kept his mouth closed, and now he knows it   well done guys
-
I had to stick up for the corrado a bit  but that 528 guy is an idiot, he went to a track day a while back with his 2000 M5 and nobody would talk to him, he just stood at his car and became billy no mates  its quite funny, i know a lot about his car and to say that its rough is an understatement i have decided to do a little bit of stirring on that site, but the owner of the site eob, seems to just go to other forum's to draw people onto his site with argumentitive topics, just look at the tdi vs impreza topic, he loggede onto a cubaru forum to draw them into it. my suggestion to mods is to look out for his likey registration since i found this site from google but in the mean time we have gotta have some fun at their expence, i dont mind having my account on that site deleted, so lets see how far i can push them  the fact is that all the serious car people in Ireland refuse to use that site due to the very high muppet factor, some have posted on there in this thread, but thats it let the games begin
-
@kev, they are bringing out a complete system which will be available by christmas, so it seems a good budget system for those who dont want to spend big buscks, mind you i have a dta ecu sitting under the stairs for my corrado's future engine as for mappin/rr setup, its gonna be quite expencive especially since baz lives in ireland and there are only 1 or 2 places here that will do that work. to be honest if i were going to do this, i would go and buy an emerald ecu and run the car on throtle bodies, but i would also go for the 2L bottom end too, and get dave walker to set it up too
-
The Halex is supposed to be much stronger, there is a lad here in Ireland with a 350 bhp MTM tuned S3 and its given him no problems, its electronic nature means it can react quicker than the rallye one. He had a haldex controller in it and the problem was too much grip, it was eating tyres! Am i right in thinking that you cant mix a rallye gearbox with a haldex diff? I think i read that somewhere, so you might want to bear that in mind when getting the 6sp box, but i could be wrong
-
Mark, the car gets damn hot in any weather, its black after all, ask dave b, he has never used his heated seats in his vr6
-
They were a german option, i didnt want full leather because i wanted to not get roasted in the sun from it 8) I like the half leather its not as dark in a dark car @MArk, dont sell it, its sweet
-
its still in the garage, a "work in progress"
-
thanks mark, it took a while to get them, like about 8 weeks frm that German lad, i still have to get my LHD door cars converted to rhd, but it will all be done soon enough did you put new splits on it?
-
Thanks George, they are the same, can if far from finished anyway @MArk, you knwo me, i ill put up pics where i want to, there are loads of forums i could throw them up, but i chose here  Any pics of your G60 up Mark?
-
Thansk, i want to use the abf head, due to bigger valves i have a kr head too and i was rekoning that the cams might be simular too i also might be getting a kr head with kent cams in it, but not sure of their specs, i was told to get some decent overlap to cool the crown of the piston and the valves too since the forced induction will be a hotter running engine
-
right i know i am opening a can of worms, but.......... I know that kr cams can be used in a 9a cylinder head, but can the same cams be used in an abf head or is it a different setup? Also what sort of duration and lift have people used with forced induction 16v's? thanks
-
Thanks Leon @AlanGTI - this is the corrado forum and its a corrado
