  1. Get a kr head, kr cams, and a few other minor mods, i now have a 2L 16v daily driver with a simular spec including a 50mm inlet and its is damn quick and full of torque too. its all about engine breathing i had a 1.8 16v golf annd corrado, this one is definatly the nicest to drive out of the lot
  2. Well done, its good to see that once someone fights the decision they cave in!!! Good stuff
  3. yeah i gave up too and just painted my lights, they still flash quite orange but not 100% i must get some green bulbs and do a job on my daily driver Corrado
  4. the silles are just outer ones, the inner sill, the floor side is the real structural part, still not a nice talk to undertake at all
  5. didnt we have a huge thread on this before.......
  6. OSV is right, thats the way to go!
  7. Nice looking car! I love corrado's in black! and my black one has a simular key mark on it, soon to be gone though mind you Best of luck with it!

    Opinions on bodykit

the car is legit! its a matter of personal taste, and the owners opinion is what matters! well finished anyway! I have met the owner and he is into modernising the cars in his own unique way, he had a silver 16v before

  13. we got a mk2 golf done by dave walker at emerald for 200 last year, that was with an emerald ecu mind you, so it could be a special rate

    Turbo anyone

might generate a bit of heat in a corrado, and would probably be sitting in the car with you too
  15. [web]http://www.g-laderdoktor.com/bilder/35/1070420896.jpg[/web] a nice small turbo there, eh
  16. yeah thats about right price wise, with that you are getting a fully mapable ecu with a loom specificly made for your engine and a custom made fuel rail. Ideally thats the way to go, as its future proof if you know what i mean, mods wise. but you can use a g60 engine loom and ecu with a mk3 16v inlet manifold with your existing throtle body and the mk3's fuel rail, the only problem you will have is to get the parts. here are some [web]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 55428&rd=1[/web] and maybe the guy has the inlet manifold too???
  17. yeah vr6 ones or red tops
  18. well vince is the man for the mapping, have no real idea, but a g60 ecu is relativly easy to setup on the rr. i would anticipate getting new injectors, cheapest place to get them is mail order from the us its also a system that you can use in the future if you go for more mods
  19. cheapest way for the fuel rail is to buy an inlet manifold and fuel rail off a mk3 golf 16v(abf engine code) prob £100 ish tops from a breakers. ecu and loom about £200, all in for parts 300 and then fit them, then get it mapped too. the cheapest way in my opinion
  20. yeah get a g60 setup, you will probably need the fuel pump, then you will also need the ecu and loom and still will need to get a fuel rail made up. for the inlet manifold you need the sleves from the digifant engine to sit in place of the inserts for the mechanical injectors(they are about €2 each so about £1) So the first thing you need is the ecu and engine loom for a g60 It will work like a mk3 16v, you could always use a mk3 16v inlet manifold and fuel rail if you dont have the 8 injector setup and then just use a g60 ecu and loom
