Nice wheels alright, now where have i seen them lately...................... best of luck with them

Its a big international scam, i got a mail from a guy in Holland wanting to buy a car i was advertising for a mate and he was getting a local customer of his to send me money and i was just ti send on what the difference was to him and he would then have the car and my money, i dont think so! Total scam and you will be out of pocket and carless, if he is that serious why doesnt he add a couple of hundered dollars and fly over with the cash to see the car

i am not a fan of the rear chrome "corrado" badges at all, with my blck g60 the chrome looks nice in the front and back, it breaks up the colour nicely
-
new chrome one for the back as for the front the later grille looks great, but it depends on the cars colour too
-
wheels are a difficult call on any car, i wasnt sure till i tried them on it and then it was a definte yes they suit it
-
@coolrado, thanks, they are infuriation when you try to keep the car and someone else does them "baile atha cliath" is the county in Irish, so that means Dublin on my plates, differnt in other countys
-
Speedlines, they clear the ibiza cupra r brembo's with out any spacers at all, thanks for the comments

I thought i should put up some pics of my work in progress G60 It started life in the UK, i brought it over to Ireland earlier this year and have done a little, i have put half leather electric Recaro's in, koni coilovers and poly bushes I replaced all the carpet and dash with black items and made all red tail lights that work quite well if i do say so myself and mr police man too 8) It needs to be painted and have minor marks taken out of the body work, but i will only do that when the engine is finished I have Brembo's to go on and a FMIC too, so here are my pics, dont slate me too much  pics thumbnailed-vr6storm

Yeah they had different chargers too, here is a really good site http://www.vw-racing.org/ it lists where some of the cars are -
i would be interested as the brembo group buy seems to have died
-
I have a rallye one, it requires you to modify the twoing eye bracket and thats all, nice fit and fills up the front of the car nicely thats what i would recomend anyway
-
yeah i ordered ones off gsf without bushes thanks
-
ok, i got the B@stard bolts out! the front one is not a 17.5mm  I have a quick question, should i go out to gsf and get some wishbones tomorrow or remove the old bushes and reuse the wishbones i took out? I spent a few minutes with an air hacksaw trying to remove the bushes and said i would leave it til tomorrow are the gsf wishbones ok to use or are they crap? thanks
-
thanks, i didnt try the tighten up bit, but it does make sense
-
tried soaking it in oil, i rekon a blow torch will work on the rear buh, but nor sure about the front one
-
Right i am going nuts, it seems to be the time of the year for people to do suspension overhauls on their cars, so i got in on the act I got my coilovers and said i would start at the left front and work my way round, and while i was at it i would do the suspension bushes well the coilover and new top mount flew into place, no problem, then i moved onto taking the wishbone out, or not i have tried using a power bar, an air impact driver(not the most powerful one mind you) and everything else i could find to try and open either the front bush bolt or the rear bush bolt Has anyone got any suggestions on a way of getting this out, i am going slowly mad, i dont want to round the bolts and totally knacker myself thanks
-
Unless the bump stops are knackered, dont bother replacing them it takes shag al time to do the front top mount once you have all the tools at hand
-
It looks like the miltek one is the closes to the size and shape of the opening, right? :?:
-
cheers Kev, i will be at it this evening for the front anyway wish me luck
-
Thanks for the input lads I will throw them in and have a go, if i dont like them they will come back out And they are powerflex
-
i have done front ones before, but its all part of the challenge, plus you kn ow whats been done if you do it yourself
-
Anyone got any advice on fitting these? I have some powerflex ones on their way, should arrive tomorrow What is the best way to tackle the rear beam one too Thanks
-
Baz, i think the masses have spoken, i will try and line up a spin in one for you, but i dont rekon its going to be the way to go
-
you could just put an extra cable for the bonet underneath somwhere either, no fear of electrical issues with that
