i had the intellistart on my g gti & it didnt affect my insurance,cool when you can start it still laid in bed on these cold winter mornings.mine cost £150 fitted cos i bought it with the concept 300,would have been £230 seperate

i dont believe in book prices,the corrado is only worth what some one will pay or how desperate some one is for the money,when i was looking for my yellow g60 they all seemed to be around the 4500 mark yet i only payed 2200 for mine and it was the best i looked at.

ithink if you put agrinder on the jobsurely it would have much more chance of requiring piant :?

if it is the coil packs then depending on which engine youve got vw should replace them foc due to the fact of a reliablity problem,they vw say that because it isnt a safty issue then there was/is no need for a recall.stealers are replacing them as and when they go.

it all helps if you know one end of a spanner from the the other,doing things your self can save you shed loads of money.it costs me around £130 a month thats petrol&insurance :) -

when you switch your ignition on the led shoul flash,depending on how many times it flashes this tells you what sencer was trigered.1 flash is the interior sencer i know that but cant find book at min to tell you what the rest are

it doesnt bother me that much but when your following it &your wife is driving it,it bothered me alot,i thought she was going to take half of huddersfield out cheers

dont know wether it's just me but when i accelerate hard from a standing start the c wants to go everywhere,it pulls the steering wheel from right to left,not alot but very hard. ive been told this is normal&it's called toque steer.any theory's :?

you could pop up to me and we could check the timing aiithough i would expect it to be ok.i had a similar prob with my golf gti 8v(pb), the garage had put lead replacement in to the super unleaded tank, but it sorted it's self out after a while running it.

ive just gone with adrian flux and they were £20 cheeper than admiral with my standard g60&tpft,now its got a 20vt,190bhp&that fully comp £429 with 4 years nc,i nearly fell of my chair with this quote as the rest whated around £850-£1200.just ring around because every body is different.

i did it myself and what a pain in the bum it was too,i looked at the rs bumpers but decided on what ive done because the grill is straight in line with the intercooler,the rs ones the grills are a bit too low but they are very nice

hello m8. you say your on a company policy if they will give you details of your no claims on there policy most insurance companys will take acount of it.lad at work just saved £400 on his rs turbo

ive cutout&meshed the numberplate slot on mine .as for the indercaters they just pop out & the fogs are held with 2 screws.

i was at my stealers the other day when one of the fitters comented on how much he liked the colour and that it suited it for a none standard colour,i said it is standard ,but the guy wouldnt have it until the sales bloke told him it was but vw only imported 30 in nugget yellow so they are very rare.now i dont know myself :roll:but does anybody else know or is he just talking bolox again???? :? :?
