that depends on what you pay for your drive train and how much of the work you are doing yourself, but round about a grand sounds right, not too bothered about a 6spd yet though

Door window rubber surround can they be replaced
20v turbo replied to Nick_Micouris's topic in General Car Chat
just replaced mine early on in the year scaper rubber was about £30,main rubber was about£70, but for the other side i just bought the scaper rubber from the stealers because by the time that gpc added the postage it was more expensive. -
take it back to the dealers and tell them you bought it several months ago and if there anything like mine they just swaped it under warranty, with out a reciept
-
thinking of buying a golf vr6 for the wife the one ive seen has 133000 miles on it,what should i be looking for (engine wise).its allso a german import will this make any differance cheers guys :?
-
ring the police give them the engine number and ask them to check if it has been stolen, they have a record of such things.
-
yep but youve missed it mate it was early in the year cant just remember when, not a bad turn out.

i dont think its the type of paint as much as the colour match that matters, from my own experiance dosnt matter how good the bodyshop is how can you match 10year old paint thats faded (not from a paint code i can tell you).the car sould be in the condition that it was befor the bump this is why we pay insurance if it is then fine but if it isnt then dont sign the satisfactory piece of papar till it is right ie if it wasnt 2 colours befor it shouldnt be after the work has been done.
-
putting the 20vt in then the lupo wipers and headlight loom, its no good being able to go fast when you cant see anything

-
even with the rear shocks set at the top mine still sat low at the back, perfect now with H&Rs on though 8)

it takes me about 3.5 hour to take engine&box out change clutch and put it all back, but you can only do this with a engine hoist.
