1. Rears are 6x4. Only 6x4s readily available worth buying in the U.K. Are the Phoenix Gold ones. But even they barely fit properly. The alpine 6x4 E-types are rubbish and will pop. Best bet for you. Is to get some JL Audi 4" TR's or C2's as these both come with a 6x4 adapting plate. However. Both are a very tight fit. Barely fit. Tbh 90% of what you hear will be coming from the fronts. So I would ditch the back all together. Or buy some e types and turn the bass of complete so to run them as an addition set of high frequency cones and tweeter. The. Spend the money you didn't spend getting really good quality fronts. I personal recommend the JL Audio 5.25" C2 awesome sound. And components so come with lovely tweeters for the dash. THese also Come with cross overs. So further separation and clarity from high end frequency to bass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"Price reduced as has minor scuff to wheel arch from contact with faulty electronic gate see picture. Plus Needs windows and sunroof freeing up as been stood a while. Believe motors are ok. Heater control stuck." very round about unspecific way of saying, OH, BTW, windows are broken, all the motors are f*cked, sunroofs nakerd, and the heaters broke" haha trying to make it sound like a 2 minute job with a can of WD40, "windows and sunroof need freeing up" OH IF ONLY LIFE WAS THAT SIMPLE
3. yes mate, a feeling all to familiar to us corrado and any old car enthusiasts. kinda gotta expect these things when you take a 190bhp lump and push it beyond 300, i partly blame myself for my treatments of the engine, never cold revved or anything dont get me wrong, but i do half give it a thrashing. prior to mivw last year i got in a bit of a heated stand of with an rs4 and being caught up in the moment i went WELL ABOVE 70, if you catch my drift, hasnt been perfect since then. I think after all ive spent on this i just can let it go, and am going to persist with everything, james at OBD-works is cracking on with the brembo's, seats (I must add those brackets he has made are soooooo nice!!! so oem looking!) electric pump, wiring repairs, replacing all the rear brake set up, sorting all the rust, under sealing it, catch can, and various other bits. Also i spoke to Vince yesterday as its booked in there end of the month and he confirmed if i can leave it with them an extra week or 2 he will be able to do it as and when he can. Being just a head gasket its going to turn a 1300/1400 visit into a 2000/2200 visit. So a Serious financial punch in the face. If its a cracked head, might have to have a little think about it all, and either replace, or up grade to a 24v. Hopefully it wont come to that but crossing the old fingers and just gotta play the waiting game for now. Yes mate, 100% sure, all the tell tale signs are there, just needed the sniff test to confirm it, 100% carbon monoxide coming out the coolant res, did the test 3 times to be sure, also system pressurizing almost instantly further implies gas from elsewhere. Only variable factor now, is if its the head or the gasket, IM HOPING and might be wrong in thinking, surely from looking at that compression test, if the head was cracked, one or 2 cylinders would surely be WAY out, looking at the test there isnt much in it, hoping this means gasket, not head. I could be wrong. Hope im not. Oh the joys, haha. ONWARDS!
4. I could put it in a few different words haha Dude ive already spent thousands and thousand on mechanics, was only 2012 i had the head gasket and chain done at stealth, had head skimmed, pressure tested, cam followers, cam shaft sensor, so on so on, not to mention the endless things changed and upgraded since then, only thing left standard is the block con rods and pistons. How it all looked the most recent time it all came out had a once over and went back in again. :thumb right:

8. Silent Coat, sound proofing, got bloomin tones of the stuff on each door, now im going down the speed route i may have to peel it off though i recon. we shall see
9. get some mdf rings and a bit of plywood and make some door buld to imo, i whipped mine up in an hour or so, so easy, and door card goes straight back over the top no problem, having speaking floating in the door cards destroys any chance of them every being able to sound good, regardless of what speakers they are. ill find some pics.
10. Back in the old boys day they dint have cock tail sticks, or stanley knives, he had to shave down the match with a threepenny bit.
11. Pic? what method did you use? my dad taught me a good one, sharpen a match with a stanley knife then dip it in the paint and just touch it on the chip, works a treat.

15. Bloody hell! thats steep!!!! saying that, saw an 16 plate RS6 parked up the other day, the dics on it looked f ecking mental! my first though was i bet it cost me than my car to replace a pair of those! yer going to get some new ones mate, they are well past it!
16. Lives in a locked, water tight garage, but only done about 8-9k in last 5 and a half years of ownership, dont even think i have ever changed the rear tbh. Car was in such a **** state when i bought it. Priorities in the wrong places! Got my head straight now and were its going now though!
17. need to get all those lower arms and sub frame bits powder coated at some point as well me thinks.
18. Some picture sent over by OBD-works of current progress/findings. I said I want the underside inspected repaired and re sealed. The large rust hole I already new about. Glad he has spotted and is sorting all the other little bits aswell. Those rear discs though. Haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
19. Could be up for this Jim, Looks awesome, can anyone run their car?
20. A combination of a few things we think, has a few issues, and james (obd-works) spent the day problem diagnosing and testing, did all cylinders as you can see, all came back ok. was over heating when running, kept getting hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and spitting coolant out the expansion tank pressure valve, yet when you turned it off, fans came on as they should, james established the fan control unit was wired incorrectly, they were not coming on at all when the car was running, how, i have no idea. maybe previous work by someone. Electronic coolant pump little one on side of engine, was not working at all, so that's being replaced. The temp sensors, blue yellow and black plugs things, black one wasnt responding at all, nothing. so thats another contribution. When i had my front strut brace fitted, the mechanic who i used (because he is so close to me) that i dont normally use , lowered the coolant tank to get it out the way of the brace, james thinks changing this bringing it lower than the heater matrix could creat issues. Air obviously goes to the highest point and this was no longer the tank. Also last time i did the pump i put the plastic propped one in, so i could bet money his has lost a few props. Blue smoke, 3 plugs closest to the inlet manifold had oil residue, one of the crank case breathers pipes wasnt connected, also the charger set up james thinks it might be sucking in oil straight from the breather valve, rather than vapour, so we are installing a catch can. Fingers crossed, its all a result of a combination of all of these, and not the head gasket, Any advise or input appreciated.

22. We are hoping we have solved the issues. And it's not gasket related. I'm staying open minded though. As always great work and overall service form OBD-works. Meanwhile. He's managed to creat some bespoke seat adapting runners. Thus the first recaro is in and fully adjustable as factory fitting into the original runner set up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
23. Will be fitting one to mine this week, pretty sure not having one is the reason i get blue smoke at full chat
