im going to be keeping a close eye on it mate. Yer the kit came with 2 Ecu chips custom made by VF-engineering that have to be hard wired in so i guess that counts as a "proper map" Also the kit came with some silly large injectors so that in mind along side all the other engine mods High lift cams bla bla bla.. should be running sweeeeeet. Its a shame you live so far away man! If you down south pre show season make sure to hit me up and we can go for a mad drive!

This item has covered around 200-300 miles, since I fitted it the car has been of the road. Comes with all attachments and everything else in the kit. As you may or may not know the Viper is one of the better cold air fed induction kits up there with (IMO better than) the BMC CDA. From the website "The Viper kit is the ultimate air intake kit, designed in conjunction with Lotus the carbon fibre heatshield protects the filter and offers fantastic gains of up to 10bhp." It cost me around the £200 a matter of months ago and im only selling due to the recent purchase of a supercharger kit. I will be fitting the charger kit on the 30th so the Induction kit will be shipped out upon its removal. As its still brand new and had covered so little miles I think £165 posted is a very reasonable asking price. Below are some picture of it fitted... really is a lovely looking thing, be sad to see it go.. Peace!!!

Believe me, the shipping was an ABSOLUTE nightmare mate... if i new i had to pay £750 import tax i probably wouldn't have been so quick to buy it. If you do buy from out of Europe just be care/ be prepared. Apparently there are ways around it so that may be worth looking into.

would you accept sexual favours? I need this in my life. -
You wont find a kit anywhere man.... not chance.. VF-engineering (In the U.S.A) only make them to order.
-
weather you collect it or not you still have to pay UK import tax... unless you somehow blag it into your suitcase and say its used and you took it out there with you in the first place...
-
If i was you, with that money, I would get Cams, Re-map, Iridium tip sparks and a stainless fanimold... you would still have money left over and would get some nice gains!
-
Agree with the above, i spent months looking for a kit/charger in the end i just got it from ECS Tuning in the states, I later found out that if you E-mail VF-Engineering (the manufacturers of the Vortech kit) they will make the kit up for you direct and send it straight to you, cutting out the middle man. BE WARNED though, as my kit ended up costing me just under 4k once i got A RSE F UCKED by customs with a whopping £750 import tax... The thing is if you do buy a second hand charger on its own, so many other bits are needed to get the vr6 running as it should with a charger, it just makes life easier to get the kit as this included everything and i mean everything, that you need. The difficulty is finding a kit as 99% of companies in Europe who "stock" the kit don't have it and can no longer source it. Also maybe worth mentioning after alot of research the Vortech one seems to be the one to go for with the Rotrex receiving mixed opinions and bad experiences. Prior to my charger (not yet fitted) I have fitted cams and although the gains are small, with a re-map it makes a nice difference. For the difference between £500 and £4000 i would just get some cams and see how you get on.
