thats ok sean different things for different folks think it was a guy called bobby your thinking of who had 9.5js with something like a 195 on a black corrado now thats dangerous
-
these are 195s on an 8j you can just about see best pics ive got as these are on my old car dont want an argument just depends what look you want
-
no never had a blow out believe me or not i dont like massive amounts of stretch the 195s didnt look very stretched all i think it may be due to the higher profile of the 50s if that makes sense but 205s would be fine but as i said i would stick with 50 profile as i thought it filled the arches out more

i had a set of these on my corrado i ran 195/45/15 but always thought they looked a bit small so changed them for some 195/50/15s and they looked spot on and the ride was much improved thanks ross

blackberry vr6 with recaros magex etc hi guys decided to stick my car up for sale here first it will go on ebay sometime after xmas. Here we have a 1994 corrado vr6 in blackberry it has 183,000 miles but had a full vw top end rebuild at 140,000 this included timing chains etc the car also boasts the following full factory recaro interior in great condition amg penta alloys rear camber shims cat back magnex exhaust shortened sump with r32 pickup lowered on jom coilovers rolled arches all round the car has mot till september and is mechanically spot with recent new parts such as front disks battery top mounts coolant flush etc.The bodywork is genrally great having had a respray two years ago but their are a few bits theirs damage to the bottom of the drivers wing from a jack possibly as seen in pic other than that its pretty good. There are some bad points as follows crack in the windscreen as seen in the pic one indicator refuses to work and it will most likely need a patch of welding for its next mot as its a bit beaten up underneath due to how low the previous owner ran the car i will sell it for 2400 as it is or 2200 with standard wheels thank Ross i also have a set of mint konig bucket seats i can include for the right deal and i can drive to meet people List Date: 12/21/2014 For more info, click here to view the original listing: blackberry vr6 with recaros magex etc -------------------------------------- On Sale For: ?2,400.00 -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: blackberry vr6 with recaros magex etc Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!

right guys need some advice what would be a good price for this car it has the following spec 183,000 miles with documented vw top end rebuild at 140,00 including timing chains etc lowered on jom coilovers stainless magnex exhaust rear camber shims amg penta alloys full electric recaro interior shortened sump with r32 pickup good service history with many new parts such as new clutch, front disks, battery, top mounts full colant flush etc mechanically the car is great now runs very well good econonomy etc the car benefited from a respray two years ago and the bodies genreally very clean. But their is some slight peeling around the drivers quarter light the rest are perfect it also has some damage to the bottom of the drivers wing i would imagine from a jack and theirs a crack in the windscreen. Now for the big one the underneath of the car will need welding for its next mot it will need a patch on the rear of the passenger cill and the drivers cill is dented and bent in from either being run so low by the previous owner someone using the factory jack incorectlly at some point this has caused rust so the wing is no longer fixed at the bottom this is fixable by someone with the skills i know im not going to get what i paid but i would like some honest opinions on the value of the car as to be honest i have had enough of corrados for the moment as this is my third

Mine are factory recaros they definatlly sit lower at the front due to the seat being thinner will keep the konigs for a while and will probablly sell them on later gonna keep the recaros in my room in the meantime i think. I just couldnt sell them as they are factory fitted cheers for the input chaps

Doubt you will notice much difference in terms of handling other than loss of grip due to thinner tyres. I would be more worried about how they will sit i would imagine they wont fill the arches out well at all. Assuming its a 16v i always found you need at least a 7.5j to fill the arch but an 8j with an et around 15 gave perfect fitment hope that helps
