Right guys thinking of selling my 16v and getting a vr6 open to anything needs good paintwork not worried about mechanicals or electrics projects considered what have you got got up to around 2000

hi guys after some help i did an abf conversion on my corrado around 3 months ago. Its still running kjet and it ran sweat as a nut up until a couple of weeks ago. The started sounding really rough when you started it but very rarely if you turned it of and back on it was fine anyway it now happens more regularly especially when cold the idle is also unsettled its fine sometimes but then sometimes drops to around 450 obviously making the car splutter if you rev the car it will go back to normal but may do it again later. I think its running rich and it pops a bit on over run which it didn't do before any ideas i have cleaned the wur and the contacts of the sensors on the side of the head thanks ross

well i aquired another set of wheels they are 15x8 et15 they are a rep of an enkei wheel but i quite like them havent seen many before and the fitment is perfect not sure about the brown so what do i do refurb the shcmidts or keep the new ones opinions please

update new wheels swapped the borbets for these plus 50 quid as got fed up with them rubbing the arches these are 15x8 et25. The centres need painting but what colour advice please also the car seems to run badly when cold very lumpy and the idle keeps dropping to around 500 occasionally when cold anyone know anything to check thanks ross

think i am looking to sell dont think i can be bothered to keep swapping tyres round i already have team dynamic monza as winter wheels

hi guys i have a set of team dynamics pro race 1 wheels they are 16x7j with light curbing no tyres i was just after some advice on what you think their worth as i have no idea or advice as to wether i should keep them for winter wheels let me know what you think thanks Ross

feeling rather sad the white corrado i sold is being broken for parts:( it seems all that work i put in wasnt enough

thanks clumpy i will do im just enjoying driving it at the moment im yet to see another corrado on the road while in it though

update alot has happened since the last update the engine is in and ive done 3000 miles since. It runs sweet as a nut had a few teething problems but everything is great soon after i fitted the engine i went to Yorkshire and the lakes with a few mates for my 21st it was brilliant fun and a 90s showdown as my mate was driving a 1991 200sx. The car was great went up the hardknott pass in the lakes and the rhynose pass some brilliant roads and weather and to top it of 46mpg heres some pics just before the pass just after the pass it was rather steep at a 1 in 3 gradient anyway holiday aside my new wheels are now on after replacing both rear wheel bearings disks and pads.Last weekend i went to apex festival at lydden hill was a good day but only soar four corrado heres a quick rolling shot heres a pic from the show got some good fedback and rather happy with the car not sure about the colour of the wheels what do you think?

they have been sold a few times recently i believe they arent corrado recaros but out of a rover with subframes made to fit and then died red by i believe kad vr6 on here quite a while ago but dont hold me to that i was looking at getting them a while ago

the dot code on the tyre is 7d34804 does think mean its made on the 48th week of 2004 making them 10 years old that will teach me to by part worns is this likely to be making the noise

i immediately thought wheel bearing vr6 south but since i have done 1100 odd miles since on my old wheels i would have thought i would have been able to hear it with the old wheels by now thanks ross

cheers for the advice guys i thought the size would be alright seen various people running borbet a's of the same spec on a 16v they are 4x100 so no adapters. i thought toyo proxies were good but ive never driven on them im thinking these tyres are a bit old .Would you guys recommend just changing the tyres or changing the wheels they are staggered so only got the 9's on the rear and they dont rub anywhere but run pretty close to the trailing arm advice would be appreciated thanks ross

hi guys after some advice i got a new set of wheels they are 16x9 borbet ts i put two part worn 215/40/16 toyo proxie t1s tyres on them.When i put them on the car they instantly started rumbling sort of how a wheel bearing sounds so i took them of and put my old wheels on and the noise went away i have since drove over 1000 miles on holiday on the old wheels with no noises the wheels are definatlly balanced could the noise be due to bad tyres? any suggestions welcome thanks ross

hi guys ive just got some borbet ts which are 9j i have some 215/40 16 toyo proxies on them. What sort of tyre pressures do people run as there is a little stretch do i need to run higher pressures thanks ross

i done the conversion about 2 weeks ago and just used the standard kr engine mounts no clearance issues on the bonnet hope that helps its got the early low bonnet aswell

thanks Sean vagcat came up with what i wanted parts arrived and turns out the intermediate shaft bearing is knackered which from what i gather means the engine needs to come out im absolutely gutted !!
