guys i really need some advice ive changed my engine for an abf and it seems to be problem after problem. i cant drive the car as it has a serious oil leak coming from the airbox end of the engine. I thought it was the sump but have changed that and its still bad i think its coming from under the timing cover what are the likely culprits? please help

right guys ive just completed an engine change on my corrado it now has an abf engine. Ive just finished it runs great but took it for a spin and at higher revs theirs quite a squeel from the engine bay a bit like a supercharger but only at higher revs i thinks its because ive tensioned the timing belt to tight or the power steering belt whats the most likely culprit and have you guys got any tips thanks ross

well update this weekend was time for the engine change it started of well had the car stripped in a day and removed the engine the next morning. The first issue was the radiator which broke when i went to pull the hoses of anyway carried on started moving everything over only to break the dizzy by accident i persevered and fitted the new clutch but went to change the clutch release bearing and the little clips were broken on the new one. I continued with the old one and went to change the cambelt and they've sent me the wrong one so i am forced to finish it next weekend when i will change the clutch release bearing and the cambelt.ow also got the wrong rocker cover gasket as well heres some pics engine out the hole it left cleaned up the engine bay as i left the engine on the plus side swapped my lenso bbs reps for these borbet t,s staggered 16x7.7 and 16x9 they were badly curbed so set to work correcting that heres one done

after some opinion i currently have a set of good nick lenso bsx bbs reps on my corrado and ive been offered a set of staggered borbet ts in 16x7.5 and 16x9 good tyres on both should i swap.On the plus side the borbets will sit nicely and are unusual on the other side the bbs reps look good but had them a while and fancy a change plus they are awful to clean heres the lenso borbets on a previous owners corrado

im not sure at the moment somewhere just above fort william glencoe so i can explore a bit more around glencoe but also travel further up would love to visit the west coast but know nothing of the area will have a chat with my mates as its a long old way from good old kent :)
-
well when we went in september we stayed near inverary and then went up to fort william a couple of times and drove the glencoe road which was awesome. Also drove some good ones around glen Nevis. This time i was thinking of going further up around the cairngorms but im a bit concerned about snow but i may be being daft :) should be a good convoy and a bit of a 90s showdown with my corrado a nissan 180sx and a volvo 850 t5 cant wait just gotta find somewhere good to stay
-
cheers for the advice guys i really enjoyed it last year think im just gonna try and persuade my mates to drive that bit further if they will persist in owning unreliable jap cars .Anyone got any idea what the weather will be like in scotland in mid april
