another day another problem ive been working away recently and ive been using a work van anyway i decided i was going to get some use out of the car and use it this week. I set of at 7 this morning sat in traffic for an hour and temps on the car kept climbing they started tipping over 100 which seemed pretty hot to me but i know others had said its fine but once the water on the bonnet from the rain started steaming i knew it was time to stop leaving me on the hard shoulder in the rain until it cooled and traffic died down at which point i drove it home pretty annoyed to be honest im thinking new temp sensors and check the fan wiring maybe wire a switch in for good measure. There was no obvious fan kick in where the temp would drop again it just slowly rose to a peak of just over 100 and oil 116 but as i said i could feel the heat inside the car and the bonnet started steaming any help appreciated feeling quite lost now looks like it will sit on my drive another week with no use!!!

cheers for the advice dox. Update got my hands on a full exhaust i think its a magnex system got the lot for 100 pound cat included a bargain i think set about putting it on today it started well and had the old one of within the hour put the new one on ok but the drivers door swung open while jacked up straight into a bench and made a car park style dent on it to say i was fuming is an understatement, really losing the love with this car you sort one thing and it just seems to bite straight back. It runs a little better now but is a bit to quiet i think a bmc cda would help this also managed to bag some as new corrado script mats for 16 pound of ebay anyway heres some pics out with the old in with the new

I had 9x16 et15 on my 16v and there was maybe 4mm between the trailing arm and wheel so you would need spacers to bring the et to around et15 to get them on the back to clear the trailing arm hope that helps with standard rolled arches you will need to run 205/40 tyres to prevent rubbing Sent from my LT15i using Tapatalk 2

Also you cant machine The back face of the wheel to make it tuck more because if its anything like mine were it will already be very very close to the trailing arm thanks

I had 9j et15 with 215/40 on my 16v the stretch was fine not to much and the tread was under the arch but they still rubbed a bit over large bumps or with people in the back and my arches were half rolled if you get them rolled be very careful as corrado arches are very easy to ripple hope that helps thanks Ross

I looked into this and every thread i found said none of them would fit and they would all knock on the exhaust tunnel and sit to high due to the longer block not much help sorry but thats where my research got me
