Hi all, Was meaning to make this post a little earlier, but kept slipping my mind, me and a group of friends are setting off early tomorrow morning for our 2nd visit to the Nürburgring, only reason I mention this is because I believe another forum member was there when I was there last year, and I only found out when he had posted a picture of car on the forum after I got back! We leave tomorrow (3rd May) and return Monday (8th May), on the off chance anyone from here is out there the same time as me this year let me know! Oli

If i remember correctly the lambda is on the cat pipe and not on the manifold, the manifold may have 2 bungs nearer the top as well, These are for OBD-II so will need to be blanked off, unless your OBD-II of course!

Yeh the blue one, pretty sure it was this one, was an aqua blue VR6, K reg, and had been sat on a driveway for a while!
-
Live in Swindon and was about to go and enquire about this car when it was sat on the drive, when I actually got round to doing it the car was gone! Very glad it went to a good home :)

Have tinted a fair few windows in the past, the flatter the windows the easier, so if your windows are completely flat you should be fine. When you peel the backing off to reveal the adhesive, you should spray with water and apply wet, then using a squeegee you remove the water from between the film and the window (starting from the middle, moving outwards). You should be able to get no bubbles in it at all. Plenty of youtube videos and online tutorials.

Haha love yours as well!! Went in May this year, was amazing! Paid for that one photo, just thought the car looked so good on the carousel! When did you go?

That's wicked, those stills at the end are real good! Thanks

It very well could be that one now, but I'm looking for more information and in particular pictures on the one in the pictures, or at least with it in that setup! More info I've found Was/is a Berg Cup race car and another picture

Found pictures of this Corrado recently, and looking to see if anyone know where I can find more info on it? Featured in this article on speed hunters http://www.speedhunters.com/2011/12/event_gt_gt_essen_motor_show_race_and_drift/

What exhaust, no one has a definate answer......
p0l1wrath replied to Mrbaldhead's topic in Drivetrain
I, probably not to many peoples taste, have a 6-2-1 downpipe, straight through to scorpion back box, at either 2.25" or 2.5" (can't ever remember) and yes there is a little bit of drone whilst climbing the revs, but when your sitting at any speed there isn't much drone at all, drove to Germany and back with this setup, and wouldn't call it annoying, but then again I'm also a sucker for a loud exhaust. -
I cut mine out years ago, can't really remember if it helped that much in the end to be honest. Quite easy to cut with a dremel and a bit of patience

Thanks for the update -
Right so after looking at some wiring diagrams, I may have got the pin number wrong, I thought pin 86 should be the one that receives power, but i think it looks like 86 goes to ground (the one on the back of the cylinder head, so may be worth checking also) but 85 is the live relay signal wire and comes the the ECU. Try checking the voltage of pin 85 and make sure you check the voltage whilst trying to turn the engine over, to guarantee the ECU would be powering the relay. Apologies for getting this wrong first time round

PM'd about bootlid, if still available -
Have you checked whether you have power at pin 86 (I think) of the relay? If you can bridge the main power pins and you say the relay works sounds like the relay switch power is at fault? should be able to multimeter pin 86 to ground and check for power.

Won't be attending this weekend, seems my electrical problems just keep getting worse, fuel pump is now out of action, will need this weekend to fix this issue, sorry Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Do you know the weight difference between this and the standard one Thanks
-
Could well have been me, I am around that area a lot. Also still looking to come this weekend, but cars central locking has failed and I now can't get the fuel flap open, hoping to get it fixed tonight. If i do, looking to come down and stay the Saturday after I'm done at Coventry. In terms of other cars, my mate has an old Nissan Silvia S12, and wants to come as well, doesn't matter what cars end up there does it? Cheers

Was fiddling around with the fuse box this morning to try and sort an earthing issue I've had and now I've got no central locking, no electric windows and ABS light on. I'm assuming I've knocked a plug or something out of place, but just checked them all and they seem fine? Is there one plug on the back something else that would lead all of these things to fail at once? Cheers, Oli

Well it all depends on what time it finishes? I'm hoping to get over to Dubs mania Telford way on, for before 10 so I can get into the campsite. -
