Well if all goes well in the next coming weeks my interior will be up forsale (black heated leathers) I have a early and late switch with complete loom and ill be offering one of the switches to the buyer. So you could buy the other one of me?? also GPC can get the stuff alot cheaper than VW so give them a call

guys if all goes well tonight got to tidy up a few things etc and make sure the brakes work (changed hoses and fluid) im going to take it for a spin and might get someone to do video recording of it if i do what ways can i host it etc sorry but im a bit thick when it comes to that stuff lol

Well as Stef decided to give it away it looks like 16v j-ket neve came with ECU relays which is why my car wasnt started once i put one on "borrowed" from Migs all car electronics worked 100% played with the timing a bit and bingo it all works fine and it fecking sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!!! i cant wait to take it for its first spin tomorrow :D

yep woke up a neighbour of mine when it started up lol also feck me its loud when it dumps air lol

well as ull prob see as ive just posted up on the general forum it wasnt the petrol pump relay I alos found that there was no spark which upto that point i didnt think about checking it was actually the fact i had no ECU relay it was only after alot of headache did we realise this as the 16v never come with them standard :roll: but the min i "borrowed" one of migs the car electronics worked :D

well guys all i can say (for those who saw my post about the fuel pump in the prob sction) it wasnt the the relay or the wiring or the pumps themselves Ill let you lot have a guess to what happened :D post away I will tell all

yep pump was priming but becuase i didnt put in the clips on the injectors.fuel rail to hold it all in together it started to leak out of there :( but going to see if i can get it started tonight

what the relay?? i would have thought just putting the two wires in would be fine?

can u do that? got a piece of wire was going to stick it inbetwwn the terminals but didnt want to incase i damage the fuse box :oops:

yeah its not doing that also ive just been investigating a little futher using the good old bentley's manual and i dont know if its me but the fuel pump relay is clicking but on the "exit" side there is no current showing I opened it up and it looks fine but can see it moving do these relays go often??

whats priming? all i get is the from the back when i turn it off but no vibration or anything from the pumps ive taken the connection off and no power at the pumps

thats whats going through my head at the mo :( its really winding me up :cry:

Hello guys I really really need someones help out there Ok a bit of back ground to help out My car has started of as a 1.8 16v on k-jet and I got hold of a complete loom from a corrado G60 with no wires cut. So i removed the four or five plugs (cant remember how many) and replaced them from the g60 one. Straight fit no problems. Anyway ive just finished all the work need and gone to start it and everything is turning fine but the flipping pumps arent getting power :mad: fuel relays are clicking fuel pump fuse is fine and corret one the only thing i cant find is the fuel pump over-run so come on guys please tell me what whats going wrong?? and i have connected something wrong???

lol mate i have a picture of my car on my computer and stare at it all day long i think thats the saddest one so far :D
