sorry but i wouldnt touch a ABF block even if u gave it to me for free on my mates corrado it hasd a engine replaced about 4 years before he got it but they replaced it with a ABF and not 9A engine well that thing just crumbled to pieces didnt pull aswell and suffered from everything going wrong Since we changed it back to a 9A and put the KR head on it he drives it like a nutter all day long as its worked without fauly and he noticed a huge difference in the car especially that the 9A likes to rev more than the ABF just my 2p's worth p.s i still have to see what this difference between the inlets is as ive never noticed it

i dont know im in two minds first of all im like WTF then i look at it closer and it looks ok and alot of work gone into it even the doors But then its a spanish car so off course i love it :D lol

whats the tax break in the uk??? I thought it was only upto 1.3 engines but reading on here it looks like 1.6 now???

sorry to jump on here and hijack Henny thread :oops: but this is also very interesting for me :) now that my car is ready to go back onto the roads of the uk im really looking to do this evaluation thing but there is two things that in my mind will hold me up One the charger not run in and the map hasnt been done so i really dont know what the engine output will be Second is that im going for a change of interior so will this also affect the final pricing of it?? my insurance company knows im supercharging but due to the fact I dont have the final power outputs I cant insure the charger acurately which is a pity any advise guys???

oh ok because he was telling me with the LSD he gets you can choose different ramp angles and i had no idea which he was running 30%

if independant means Stealth racing i would say most def!!!!!! but if u want to keep the car with the stamp's just get VW to do the oil change (think thats all thats needed)

i can understand people prefer the different mags for different reasons but every time i look at PVW all they have is cars that are built for shows but not ragged not saying its for all the cars but personally i think its sad how some of these cars only do 200 miles a years just to make sure they dont mark their cars etc then u look at the cars in the golf and most of them this year i know personally myself and i know they have been ragged as hard as they have been built so in that respect im a build them hard thrash them even harder guy so PVW appels to me like putting my face in dog crap once they start doing more drivers cars other than show n shione winners ill stop moaning oh and maybe they should learn to print what they are told aswell and not what they want to print :roll: if where going to get tech about articles

came on here to reply about my car and saw this which has really f****d me off :mad: that was a perfectly good shell and look how its ended up bad enough corrado's are getting writen off and some rotting throught now due to carless owners but ripping apart a perfect shell and then joking about it i just dont see the funny side sorry just my 2p's worth as for my car ull have to wait as its going to go back into the body shop and hopefully my new interior should be turning up soon (fingers crossed) and then only have the ICE to tackle oh i just keep buying wheels so dont know which ones to use :cry:

ok but how much are thesse subs each??? i know on http://www.mcs-direct.co.uk the perfect 12.1 are £100 and for that kind of money u really cant beat its value also got to agree if i need a few I.C.E bargins max power is the only mag to buy there is so much competition in there ull be a fool to pay full prices

gsf and eurocarparts still do them but for the money ur going to pay for them u might aswell get a kent cam kit or shrik (how ever its spelt) the cams only worth getting cheap not full price

mate aslong as the engine was healthy before it came out you shouldnt have any problems Use u head and cams on the bottom end and that should keep u happy :) also if u want change the water pump on there and off course head gasket and geaskets before sticking it in as for the inlet personally i would stick to the 50mm one for the more fun as ive never noticed this fall in torque even on my other mates 16v that everyone keeps mentioning

dont know if they would but u def can go and get alu pipe work from metal shops etc and take it to exhuast pleace to bend it for u :D personally i had my Alu pipe supplied by JMR but they where only straight pieces

mate totaly agree with u The Golf def has the better "readers cars" than cheque book ones Guess once i run out of toilet paper i know what to use now :D
