  1. Here we go again lol   Induction kits can be put on 16v's due to the fact that they run mechanical fuel system so best thing to get is a K&N airfiler and drill the airbox towards the front of it :D along with removing the snorkle Xhuast there is Magnex Miltek and Scorpion that do off the shelf but listening to people comments here I would get in contact with John (16vg60) on the forum and order your exhuast as its excellent quality and very quiet. Otherwise custom builtone to your choice Engine wise there a few things you can do depends on ur funds :D
  2. well i do love the wheels but thats because my mate has a low rider and has similar wheels 19ft long 8ft wide (might be wider  ) 1965 convertable all elctronic with Pro Hydralics :D best car ever :D

  6. you running it on original ECU??? and im guessing the inlet flap works aswell??? or can u get away with running a VR6 ECU and Loom on a 24v lump?? with a remap??
  7. well if i started to do that i wouldnt have a place to live lol im trying to buy my first house and not findin it easy in london so the £10000 i could throw at that engine is going into a deposite hence why ive just gone for the supercharged 16v route :D
  8. only kidding mate lol its just my dream corrado is to be a V6 3.2 24v Twin T4 turbo 700 bhp on min boost with 4x4 thats all lol but im glad to hear ur happy to see it run im still waiting to hear mine run :(
  9. true me and u know that i just wanted to see how this one has been done :)
  10. damm i want a 24v lump now it seems to go in to easily :(
  11. mate i would love to hear how this mkII is getting 185bhp anyway like ive mentioned on another thread best way for cheap pennies to produce extra power is to do what ive mentined anythings else would be over £3000 in mods :(
  12. see doesnt take long for the pennies to amount upto £5000 if u totally it all up :D
  13. well ull prob can if u do the work urself (i.e take about £2000 in labour) but for example my engine cost me £3000 to have built and ive done the rest fo the work to convert it to 16vg60 for about £1000 including buying the charger then add the last £400-£500 to map the ECU to my engine and ur close enought to £5000
  14. as the other thread has been locked this is my reply i was going to give :- like ive mentioned in the wanted section what is it ur really wanting to get out of ur engine if you want ultimate power then ull go turbo with a standalone system again if you go 16vg60 you can use the G60 ECU system Ive also been told you can get the Cosworth ECU system to run on our engines which im trying to look into but anyway you go youll def be looking at a min of £5000 to do it properly
  15. here is alink that was put on here a few weeks ago http://www.turbo-drive.at/TurboDrive/ also these guys do kits http://www.hgp-turbo.de/ the prob is there is no one way of doing either 16vg60 or 16vT it all depends what ur looking for (i.e how u want the power to come in and how much power etc)
  16. I would have suggested using a g60 headgasket and i think late mkIII 16v aree metal along with TDI's as they are alot stronger than standard items ive jsut finished putting one of these to my mates 16v also as ur getting mixture in the water i would strongly suggest you skim the head when its off but it could also mean your water oil cooler has sprung a leak in the seals letting oil and water mix also onece the head is off u need to do the timing along with a new timing belt but best to time everything up before you take everything off :)
  17. at the back of the air box and under the plastic tubing that goes to the throtle body last guy that had the same sort of problems as u mentiong found out there was a sensor disconnected back there and the car run fine after that
  18. i know someone selling a turbo manifold for 16v for £200
  19. mate have u checked the vacum hoses at the bottom and on the induction pipe ??? its also common for them to come lose or have a leak causing these problems
  20. see this is why im trying to see if i can get rid of my power steering pump and have it electronically also mean i dont need to run the 2nd v belt :D
  21. lol yes its easy to change basically unbolt everything and then put back together but why do u need to change it?
  22. uh do i dare put frech thing in my car :(  also you lot know my pain when my went trying to park to corrado   :(
