    dr mat yes u can get more power if the money spent etc but look at Guy storm to get a N/A to run well as a f/i car is alot of hard work and money As for a g60 there is plenty of guys in america etc that remove the charger and run a turbo setup and get lots of power and not so much headache also when u loook at power to weight ratio, and how much power you can put down on the front wheels so but i would go for a turbo g60 over vr any day or even better x flow g60 turbo :D

  4. hello guys Thanx for you concerns those who now me closer know the real reason behind my decision and think they agree with me to just get it sorted and go from there Looks like i will be at AMD this weekend to answer any questions any one has about the brembos as i had promised someone there a fav so got to keep my word Majik as for ACE i am still the host and responsible to ACE cafe meet but depending how things are on the night i will not be there but others have kindly said they would look after everything Phatvr dont worry mate ur things will be in the post hopefully towards the end of this week :) I may have made it sound worse than it is but i just need my time and space at the mo hence why i just want to drop back from the scene until ive sorted it out. Dont worry i will be back and the car will not be left alone as im so close to finishing it but i just dont know when
  5. Ok guys This might come as a surprise to many of you but today I have received news which im not happy about and means I will have to leave the VW scene until it is sorted. I will not go into details as I fell there is no need for you guys to know. I still dont know if i will be attending Inters etc as its thrown any of my future plans out of the window but i will be about once in a while. As for the brembo group buy I have just posted the supppliers details and he is more than glad to take over the situation. If you have any questions feel free to contact myself or Andrew and i will try to get back to you when I can. I will still remind eveyone the groupbuy is still on but if you guys know anyone that would be interested please pass the word on thanx

    Why dont you get hold of the bigger 2.9 pistons and spend the money and a good quality engine rebuild Get everything fully balanced and ported and if should be working fine :)
  7. my corrado not my girl friend she's just my lover i see on the weekends lol ;) also yeah i have gone through a few engines but not all in my corrado remember ive had more cars but mainly the corrado but this time ive made sure im building it correctly and i have no complaints so far :) and understandad woman lol thats a good one (as i run before i get shouted at :lol:)
  8. u guys have nothing on me :lol: Ive had so much go, on my car ive replaced it all and even then it only took a twat to reverse into my car just 1 week of finishing it all so ive had to do it all again Come back to me when u have 2 dead engine, 1 cracked head, 2 water paumps, 3 startermotors, 3 gear boxes and 4 resprays (two are bare metal ones) under ur belts lol and that doesnt even include the modifing parts :( and now ask me why im single lol
  9. WEll where i got the DTA it was £1000 witht he profesional loom which ive now sold on I do know where im getting the new system but im keeping that one a secret but can be easily found on a google search

Sorry beavis but i do not agree with some of your comments especial about the knock sensors etc Ive run my DTA for nearly two years and I regularly speak to people running Emerald and they both the same thing, The only prob is that the are both very primitive when it comes to the world of Standalone fuel systems Ive personally found a standalone which is as good as Motech (nearly identical designs) but at the price of the DTA or Emerald. In the end of the day if your going to go with either of these two ull have to keep playing with the maps all the time as ive its mapped in cold weather the car will not run 100% in hot weather and vice versa and trust me ive learnt a lot since having the DTA so i know from experience. In the end of the day what u need to find is a highly spec-ed standalone that can do everything Measure temps (outside and inlet temps) Has auto self learning (again very similar to running a g60 bosch system) using knock sensors etc Also true lambda adjustment etc All these things makes the car a little better to drive daily ive never not know anyone that has a standalone that can deal with everyday traffic etc especially here in london. In the end of the day research it as much as possible and the best is through google as that’s where I have found most of the systems out there etc. just my 2p's worth

  19. well if thats the case ive got my crank wheel (double pulley) and old water pump pulley (this is actually a upgrade as its smaller than standard so the pump spins quicker) up for sale soon as i dont need it with my new setup :) randal if your interested email me

  21. what i dont understand is why u need the idler pulley??? i never had it on min if only ever seen in on two 16v
  22. yeah sure do because i have no idea what ur talking about (no offense intended) but if its the water pump pulley, then it def is ur water pump thats gone, this is common as the pulley bolts on with three bolts to the water pump shaft if anyone out there has a pic of the side of a 16v engine please feel free to post it up
  23. well then u need to change ur water pump has nothing to do with the pulley are you find the car is runnign hotter than it should be ?
  24. the only one i can think of is the water pump pulley that sits under the alternator but in front of the crank pulley?? if so whats the problem with it?
  25. mate a bit confused by ur request On the corrado 16v came with two belt on their systems First belt goes round the crank pulley, water pump pulley and alternator pulley Second belt system goes round the outside of the cranck pulley and powersteering pulley. I have seen a very limited amount of 16v corrado that have a etra pulley on the water pump for the power steering system but that you really dont need. As for the belt tension on the inner belt system thats dont moving the alternator back and forwars and on the outside belt stsyem that done on the power steering pump
