  5. it can also be ur oil pump is showing first signs of giving up :( i would get the oil pressure tested on the engine

Someone i know has a standard g60 over 100K miles and he was driving along this weekend and out of no where the engine oil warning light came on and the car stoped, he pulled over straight away Since then he hasnt touched it What could it be??? p.s i know get it to a garage first but i though i would ask you guys thanx in advance
  7. which one mate??? if you mean the two pics of the front bumper (one with flames over the bonne) that was designed by me with a little help from Jim on this forum but it was never made sadly :( DSP who I gave the original design to have made a similar one but not 100% the same I do have a new different front bumper that going on to the car but no pics of it yet

    Cold start??? idle valve control???? what those lol 2.1 16v corrado running on DTA :twisted: sadly DTA hasnt got these full control there is a way of wiring up a coldstart/idle valve but thats it Amy do you have the problem of slightly over fueling at idle?? Me and Vince have looked into it and dont know how to get round it at the mo :( Also Ben im thiking of getting those Kenlow as ive read some good reviews on the net Whats shop you thinking of getting them from ??

    sorry but i hate Yokohama's Had on my standard mkI wheels and one bubbled up badly so sent it back and they blamed it on me :mad: they werent that good either Ive run two sets of Goodyear F1's and they are amazing!!!!! in the wet and dry and wouldnt buy anything else Ive also heard Toyo Proxies are good but hcan wear down quickly just my 2p's worth

  17. well u g60 boys might be spinning 1st and 2nd but ive done 1st 2nd 3rd wheels spin down Santa pod :lol: lol thanx to some one that videoed me and then sent it to me lol :oops: oh and the beauty of DTA just a few sensors and I have traction/launch control :D but that would be boring :twisted:

  20. ok guys I know Majik is selling a very good 9A block for £400 that would perfect for this kind of thing Also i would recomend using a 9A (VW) or 6A (audi) engine block. These are identical in outside apperance to the 1.8 16v engines but the internals i.e crank and conrads are different and way better designed I would not recomend boring out the 1.8 16v to 2L as its really not worth the money or troubles plus you wont be able to really rev it past 65000rpm If you take my engine its built on a passat 9A 16v engine and im able to rev upto 8000 rpm if i want to but have the limiter on 7500rpm hope this helps
