  1. Jedi those are the guys that i might do it with Im waiting for Pristine in Milton Keynes to get back to me with a price before i make my decision
  2. at the mo im ringing round to get qoutes for my wheels so any info would be great aswell
  3. on the BBS its the same from memory as we have both out and looking at the difference As for the new wheels ive got it would be pointless as i have no identical ones in vw offset to measure against
  4. oh as for caliper shaving thats plain stupid just get wheels u can fit on there hence why ive had to get rid of my brembo kit and go for a different setup :(
  5. sorry but i must be looking at this the wrong way to you guys But at home i have a standard set of VW BBS G60 wheels and my mate has a standard set of BMW BBS e30 wheels which both are 4x100 PCD and both are 15" and same width. The only difference is that on the VW the center bit where the bolts go through is not aslong as the BMW version i.e :- VW bolt part - [ ] BMW bolt part - [ ] Now to me all it looks like is BBS added more metal to the original casting for the BMW wheels. Ok im not saying this is for all wheels just the ones ive seen Another eaxmple is on my old wheels using the wheel bolt i have and at a offset of 35mm i had a good 30mm of bolt sticking out of the other end to bolt onto the hub Now same wheel bolts but the new wheels i have there is less of the bolt about 10-15mm now sticking out hence why im getting longer bolts. So i fail to see what you guys are going on about unless the wheels in question the bolts sit in futher in the actual wheel meaning u still get the same amount of thread out of the other side
  6. oh ok well im just going by my wheels and i can 100% say thats mine is 15mm wider as i need to get longer wheels bolts as the standard left arent long enough for me to be happy with
  7. not realy as BMW wheels have a offset of 20mm and standard vw is 35mm so u have atleast 15mm to play with I do on my wheels that ive got for my car as they are BMW wheels but im not shaving them as they sit perfect the way they are :D
  8. why dont u just take the wheels to a refurb shop and ask them to shave the offset down for example the guys thta doing my wheels offer this service :- http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/pricelist.htm
  9. aslong as the standard 16v can handle my setup im keeping to that :D i dont expect 300bhp
  10. hello mate :D are u still running the normal 16v fuel pump setup on ur car??? as urs was the same as mine also just went down stairs to have a look under my car and i have this setup http://www.elcats.ru/audivw/vag5.asp?su ... -00&cid=76 and lloks like i have a fuel pump outside the car so maybe i can run a FSE or Facet pump??? or a 911 turbo or Quattro??
  11. just been looking at ETKA and all three different cars i.e vr g60 and 16v have all different setups  :? :| is this correct ???by the way mine original was a 1.8 16v 1991
  12. well i want to replace it even thou its not dead as im going to do a re-chip etc on the car and all new setup and might aswell give it a freesh fuel pump but i want to keep it in tank. Does anyone know if the vr6, g60, 16v or 8v all have different flowing pumps???as i might aswell put in the highest flowing one :)
  13. but the $64million question do they fit???
  14. Hello guys Ive been trying to to find a higher flowing fuel pump to go in the corrado as im guessing my fuel pump has seen better days so guys is there any performance fuel pumps or higher flowing than standard?? or shall i just get a new standard pump???
  15. u mean the 4 pin fan setup??? Also is this control what u find next to the water bottle on corrados mianly 92>
  16. Ok for the tech guys ive been offered a vr6 fan setup and I wanted to know if I can run it of my 3 pin setup on my car on the 4 pin setup of the vr fan So does anyone know what the connections do on the 3 pin and 4 pin connectors??? Thanx in advance
  17. u lot are terrible what happened to the days men men where gentlemen lol    gladly no one on here as never seen me and my mates out so im safe lol
  18. 9A all the way :) sorry but i personally think the ABF block is crap its has longer weaker rods and ive never seen one that can produce good power Also my mate had a ABF engine in his corrado and the min it got a bit of crap stuck in the fuel line (i.e wasnt fueling perfectly) the pistons cracked like a crips they use weaker materials in those engines. Ive seen 9A bottom ends on 1.8 kr heads produce 160-170bhp straight of without trying and alot of ABF guys only get that when they do a bit of work to them i guess its what ur used to but i would stay clear of a ABF bottom end
  19. bigger one all the way :D
  20. Ive just realised its got manual windows (sarkey mod on) Must be to save weight to counter balance the filler lol (sarkey mod off) it probs is a 1.2 corsa, why do people do it lol
  21. dam and i wanted to do that  oh well looks like ill have to come out with ned ideas  lol
  22. lol could do but i think my setup will sound better lol Also supercharged ill have to look into that as i never noticed that
  23. p.s this is not a post to discuse my situation with this person just a warning to others and someone seems to have got upset already that ive posted this on another forum. Thank you
  24. ok guys I doing this post here and on as many forums possible to warm and future buyers who may trade with this guy. Ok my story :- As you all may know ive been working on my car specially the engine department and i started to hand polished my own inlet but kind of got bored tired of doing it so i spotted a few polished inlet on ebay so one day decided to bid for one, which i one. As youll see the inlet was advertised as a "polished 16v golf/corrado manifold" and in the picture it looked good. Emailed the guy a few times and seem all good and it was also "assembled". Anyway my cheque gone and about two week later i get the inlet in the post all happy and over the moon i start to unwrap it to find to my suprise the biggest pile of crap every. As youll see its a half polished inlet and even the polished side has bad pitting, compound residue and looks like nothing described. It also has two very bad scratches on two inlet pipes whcih could have not been done from the postage as packaging was fine and there was a bracket over it so that would have been damaged. Also "fully assembled" just meant bolted together with no gasket and one bolt missing. Anyway I emailed the guy in gerades to my disappointment and to ask him what he would offer in return for this and all he could offer was the postage of £13 which I found insulting and not what I was lookign for. I feel i paid way to much for this inlet and it was false advertised and at no point during our comunication did he ever mention the full condition of the inlet I wouldnt have minded if this is what I had been told in the first place as I would know what im getting into but I couldnt believe anyone could do this. So at the moment I am taking if through the proper channels as "fraud/not complete/accurate description and false sale" here are the links the auction :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 2468117707 what the actualy inlet looks like in the "ebay joker" folder http://uk.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/aposegil/ If need be i will post his details (email address and name) as i have nothing to hide. So guys if you have any trading with this person please be carefull Best rgds
