sorry phat ive got to disagree with u on this one even the guys that have mkIII vr golfs around here will admit the car is to front heavy and when we gone for drive about none of them can take bends like mine, even one of them has the same setup us me eibach's and koni coilovers the only vr none golf or corrado that gave me a surprise was a vento on coilovers and then had a long conversation with the owner and he said u do notice better handling due to the boot overhang just my 2p's worth

a corrado vr all day my mate has a golf vr and i run rings round him on bend roads only good for straight roads corrado vr great which ever way u drive it

i think he means the metal coil part had a look on ETKA and there is loads of part number for that bit i think ur better of going to a stealer mate :oops: also does anyone know the part number for the rubber part that goes in the clutch inspection hole?? as i was trying to find that at the same time

i strongly suggest getting that stuff washed off a.s.a.p as if it gets into ur metal u can kiss the car good bye :( sorry to bring u even worse news but i know someone that had that done to a brand new fiat and they wrote the car off as it was impossible to repair hope its not to bad :|

Hello guys I need to order a 50mm inlet gasket for vw and there is two part numbers coming up 027 129 717 D & 027 129 717 F Can some one please confirm to me which is the correct one for the 50mm inlet as it goes by engine number and thats no good as mine has been changed :oops: thank in advance

personaly i dont like them way to lively in the back end department i rather have a 3 series coupe if i had the choice. Ive seen to many of them written off round my area Also interior feels real cheap in my opinion just my 2p's worth

hello as like i mention on all threads conserning this 1.8 16v KR head with 1.8 16v cams KR 2L 9A bottom end Good quality exhuast system using the bottom part of the exhuast manifold form a g60 or 16v with a CAT and get a cat by pass pipe Also K&N air filer with the bottom box drilled correctly Some port and polishing This should get you about 160-170bhp easily ive just finished doing this setup on my mates 16v corrado and it now pulls fromt he word go amazing setup for £800 it cost him but if u want turbo there is a guy on edition38 selling a turbo technics kit

guys i got asked this question and like a dum arse i couldnt answer it what do you guys do so that you dont have boost leak out of the idle valve??? is there like a one way valve??

sorry guys to burst your bubble here but the law has changed last year in october ull find out that anyone under the age of 25 can not be insured as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc drive on a car where the main named driver is over 25. Its basically to stp all the young people getting cheap insurance on their powerfull car

ok guys i didnt want to start a "urs is and urs isnt" thread i just wanted to show what the colour can produce. also was speaking to my sprayer on friday about a few things and he did mention there is TWO grades of LC3U Burgandy pearl effect (i think thats the correct code etc) Anyway there is a light and a dark version, the light version was used on my car this time to show of the paint of better etc so the reason it might take urs more to show thru more than others is due to the grade used just a idea also Lee great pic :) ive got to admit early on today i pulled the car out of the garage (as im working on the engine) and i saw it in the sun shine :D :D :D it looked great :lol:

hello mate how r u??? anyway looking at that it really cant tel you much do you know if they used a metal or orignal headgasket on the car??? as it sound not good for it to go so early and i know you dont drive like me lol other wise without the head off you really cant tell, but if there is no oil mixed in the water system of you not pissin goil all over the floor etc i cant se it being that bad just get the head off and see what you find :)

lol mate youve got to remember mines just come out of the body shop otherwise it was alot polishing and using quality natural one not these silcone based ones :? trust me mine at night looks black!!! even alot of people that come to my ace cafe though it was black and thats with lighting at ace cafe. But trust me come a summer day when the car is completely clean and waxed well ull just get a excellent pearl effect out of it :-P :D :)

Hello guys ive just posted this up on another forum and though i would share it with you guys :- Sadly im going to let my personal feelings out here instead of giving a professional answer Ok I've been reading across a lot of forums negative comments about the site etc and they would rather go over to Europe. I can totally understand this to a point, but what I cant understand is, everyone says that European shows are so much better, but no one ever asks why they are better. In my opinion they are because those guys make it better but making the effort of putting the show together and working with the show instead against the show. The don’t go round breaking rules because they think they are better than others and they appreciate everyone else’s creation if they spent £50 or £50,000. This is why shows like Vw action and E38 are taking off. In the end of the day TRL was taken away from us (like I saw someone mention on another forum) and instead of backing up gti international and advising them and showing them where they are going wrong with the new place where walking away from it and just spending more money going abroad. VAG scene is big here in the UK and bigger than most of us think so (I know I’ve learnt a lot about it in the last year), so instead of fighting it, why don’t we help it grow??? In the end of the day it's us who makes the shows not them just my 2p's worth.

totaly agree with clive :cheers: :D instead of runnign away from it and losing it try and show them how to make it better :)
