  1. what do peeps think?? http://www.autoweek.nl/forum/read.php?f ... 59&t=37159
  2. yeah, will check it this weekend.. i'll let you know. Ben
  3. you have a point about the crank sensor, but i recon thats ok now... I will check the wiring again at the weekend, the coil packs might have gone but I doubt all 4 have gone, what do you rekon?
  4. I have the Haltech E6M and the crank sensor is wired right as its showing a steady 120 (which i think is the engine speed), and I have a starter map loaded onto the ECU...so its a bit weird, I really can't think why I have no sparks....
  5. £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££!!!!!!!!!!! hope this helps :D
  6. finding all the missing parts, wiring was the hardest for me. Got the engine to turn over this weekend but it didn't start. No spark - any ideas??? I'm using the Haltech EMS btw.
  7. thats why you need bigger wheels! to take your eye away from the camber. Anyway I like the look of the camber with my 18's on, it looks phat! It also means that the wheels will just go under the arches, with a bit of arch work... 8)
  8. I'm hoping to fit 8.5x18 on mine all round, with 225x40 rubber.. :|
  9. mine has taken 2 years so far.....
  10. got a 4wd 20v corrado, hoping to make 360bhp on the rollers when it gets mapped @ easter..
  11. Only if the indicators don't light up amber, or they are deemed to be not bright enough... 8) indicators must, by law, be amber and a certain brightness (21W springs to mind, but I have been to the pub tonight so I could be wrong! ;) ) so what about the white reverse light, can that be covered ?? so I should be ok as long as they are bright, either that or I have a spare set of rear lights for mot times....
  12. I want to spray the rear lights with red laquer as well - is this illiegal??? if so why?
  13. well said, so when are you starting the 4wd conversion?
  14. I know mate, just thought i'd voice my opnion...
  15. What's the law on removing the indicator from a UK wing? I want to do it to smooth out the lines of the corrado....
  16. guys, don't want to put you off as I think they are an awesome mod, however you could buy a decent turbo for that price!!!!! Its a lot of dosh to blow for a few BHP....just a thought from the turbo camp..
  17. glad to hear your ok mate, got any pics of the car??
  18. Off the top of my head you are going to need / look into the following: Based on a straight 2wd swop: Engine + gearbox, If 6spd gearbox, u need a 6spd shifter, Intercooler, boost pipes, Some new hoses for different uses (boost pipes, water/heater pipes, oil..) Hose clamps, Management, Wiring, Driveshafts, bigger brakes???, chipping cost??, ignition barrel + clocks with use with standard ECU, make sure you get all electronical bits with the engine as buying them new cost way too much, engine brakets, clutch slave cyl??, standard brake master cyl will hit if you don't either replace it with a mk3 Golf 16 one or cut away the cam belt cover, throttle cable, exhaust downpipe, think thats it?? I'm doing a 4wd conversion as well so there are other issues involved on top of these. hope this helps..
  19. I don't as of yet have a good piece of advice as my car is not on the road yet however I would have to say the best mod for a corrado has to be lupo wipers.. Whats yours?? Let us know.....
  20. Its a straight swop as far as I know for 4-stud corrado's , you need: mk4 golf rear calipers, mk4 golf to mk2 braided hose (to do with the fittings, it is needed), ..as far as I know standard rear brackets (i'm 4wd so I'm using rallye items) mk4 polo front 256mm solid discs, which are 4 stud (watch out because there are a number of different front discs @ this size, the ones you need have a big offset, I'll get the German + Swedish part no. asap, but they are only about £6 each! C&R Enterprices did do a kit for about £150-200, not sure if they still do. Hope this helps..
  21. Bear in mind mine is 4wd and will be running around 400bhp! I've got brembo/Porsche 4-pots with the Seat 305mm discs at the front and mk4 calipers with 256mm at the rear at the moment, but I'm looking to upgrade.. I wanted to stick my fronts to the back with 310-330mm discs and have 4 or 6 pots up front with 355mm discs. Just researching at the moment.
  22. how does the porsche 996/boxster S handbrake mech work, like the ones on dutchdub.com??
