I need move to wherever you guys live.... lol. £90 is not far off an hours labour inc vat around here. Deduct the price of parts, and time to remove seized bolt, that is not a bad price at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Cazza. Must admit, marine stuff is £££ to setup, but well worth it once done. With freshwater, what you put in is what you get to look at. With live rock and reef setups, you get hitchhikers galore, and always spot new stuff you ahven't noticed before. Here a few critters that I never bought, but "appeared". This crab, about 2" across, was actually found hot footing it across the dining room floor one morning, about 20 feet from the tank  Feather dusters a nudibranch ---------- Post added at 11:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:32 PM ---------- Cool critters to keep. Quite handy they stay relatively small, my red eared terrapins outgrew the tank I had back then, and were rehomed to a garden centre display in the end. ---------- Post added at 11:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:34 PM ---------- Thanks :) My two kids are at uni now, as far back as they remember they can remember the black shark. A two inch tiddler way back then, 24" now. Funnily enough, the pond build was meant to be for natives only, but it took just one koi to end up being bitten by the bug. The trout is ace, bought last year at 4 or 5 inches, now aeound 15"-16". The barbel is pretty cool too, especially as it feeds from the surface now.

Definitive Guide to Corrado Stereo Wiring. Mods pls sticky!
Tigerfish replied to smee's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
IIRC, the switched and permanent live being arse about face on some cars is something to do with the ISO standard not being totally standard (in the beginning), and not all car/stereo manufacturers choosing the same standard. It isn't a VW specific thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think there have been a few forum issues. Tapatalk was cream crackered for me too, and via a browser was all out of whack also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks :) The tank takes about 1100 litres, plus a few in the filters. I currently run two Fluval FX5's and an Aquamanta EFX600, in hindsight, I should've had it drilled and run a sump. The marine stuff, although expensive to setup, is actually much easier maintenance wise. Takes a 10% water change once a month, and top offs with plain RO water the rest of the time. The 10 foot freshwater tank has a 50% change every week (downside of big fish and the heavy feeding they take).

Tropical fish - think I could get into this
Tigerfish replied to davidwort's topic in Off-topic Chat
Thanks :) Any pics of yours? ---------- Post added at 9:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:53 PM ---------- Yeah... lol... If anything happened to the black shark, the tank would be changed over. Although I would only go for FOWLR rather than reef, there a ton of marine fish i'd love that are not reef safe. -

Do you mean Neolamprologus brichardi? They are great fish. The siblings look after the next lot of younger brothers and sisters, makes them very succesfull. I used to keep a colony when I had my Lake Tanganyikan setup, along with Frontosas and synodontis catfish from the same lake. I've always found tiger barbs ok as long as there were at least 9 of them. They would then just bicker amongst themselves and leave the rest of the tank in piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Tyre Stockists - USA, long shot but worth a go
Tigerfish replied to Goldie's topic in Suppliers Forum
From what I've read before, if the tyre does not have the "e" marking, then they are not legal to have fitted in the UK. So worth making sure they are e rated before going to the hassle of bringing them back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Depending what's up with the ones you have, I may be interested in a couple to canibalise for bits.

My VR failed its MOT today on a rear wheel bearing. I already have new bearings/discs/pads/abs rings. Anybody got a good idea what ballpark the labour cost to change a bearing should be? As all the other bits would have to come off to do it, there shouldn't be any additional cost to put the new replacement bits on at the same time.i assume? Cheers :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
