i called chris knott for insurance on my golf and they beat every quote i had already got by a tenner i wouldnt use adrian flux even if they were the cheapest they neglect to tell you that if you need to transfer the policy or need to cancel it you still get stung! i will be going to chris knott for my C policy too as they promise to besat any other quote cant quite understand how policies are soo high tho :(

rebore and a remap both unseen and performance enhancing mods police that please :)

i go tell em to get lost car is legal i never ;) speed and am an upstanding citizen of the community ( yeah right i have a responsible job as a taxi driver lol) if they stop me for no reason they are asking for trouble :)

mine auto locks when the engine is running for about 30 seconds the door will not unlock until either i turn the engine off or i hit the unlock button it passed its mot like that this year ( and i aasume every other year its a pain as i have to make sure the window is open or i leave the door open if i get ouyt and leave the engine running for any reason why should it be illegal?after all its a safety feature if you have an accident the engine will stopor be stopped and unlock anyways as for a broken handle i spose they consider the fact that if you are not coherrent after and accident they should be able to get you out? still its a classic case of put a uniform on some people and they become little adolfs ( no offence intended to anyone just my terminology)

cool how much posted please ? have managed to repair the headlight loom but think i would prefer to replace if i can :)

actually after last nights bit of fun with the dash sending out smoke signals perhaps i am not in the frame of mind to ewant to find out who actually butchered the wiring in my nugget luckily she didnt go up in flames close inspection shows the fog light has a bare live wire after my gentle insopections of the previous day i must have dislodged a wire causing the short

hi i need the loom from the fuse box to the headlight switch on the dash please for and early 1.8 16v if anyone has one may be after the heater loom too if the price is good happy to pay postage or even collect if local to bournemouth just soo happy that my car didnt go up in flames

just had a play and have retumbled my locks so now have a spare :)handy skill to have i must say :)

just joined the ccgb so i can register for the events :) looking forwards to the holland trip

another door lock sorted and fitted now both front doors work off a key just the boot and the ignition to do now also got the central consol finally secured and sitting nice :) jobs agoodun as they say :)

no tried it both ways although i did blow a fuse on the number plate lights whe i did that even tried replacing the switch with a different one

i seemed to have lost my dash lights nothing else is affected everything else works any ideas? i was playing with the stereo wires and think this might be a cause but have tried to return everythingt to pre messing about stage and still no lights??? any tips would help all fuses are intact too

if i hit unlock on mine the light comes on for about thirty seconds ??have you got it switched on to on ope3ning the doors as i think this helps?

two in one day!!! about 8 am ish this morning on ringwood road dark green didnt get the reg or type turning into old wareham road in poole and then this evening about 7pm on the wessex way m reg grey(?) vr(?) in front of me you booted it abit just after cambridge road roundabout heading towards bournemouth did my best to keep up in my little 1.8 :) both looked nice if it was you come say hi :)

the passenger side door handle decided to give up on me last night( from the look of some of the forum subject this is quite common) so i spent a couple of hours retumbling the locks as have never had a key that fits the doors got the new handle on the passneger side just got to fit the new barrel on the driver side next and then fit the new ignition and boot lock along with the rest of my to do list :)

love my raddo, it costing me money to sort it but i dont care she is worth it. yes i get p****d off sometimes and my daughter doesnt like the colour, but ask her shall i pick you up in the golf or the raddo and the raddo wins 8 of 10, would i sell her simple answer is no, would i like not to have to spend money fixing her the answer is yes :) money is tight but then i get in her fire her up and the throaty little roar makes me think oh yes :) my other half loves her although she thinks the colour is a little OTT and she doesnt understand the polish her concept (yet) long live the raddo !!!

must say i agree :) but its your car bude do as you see fit :)
