I have the new 3 fin rallye outlet. Not sure how it would compare to a RSR outlet though. Seemed to make a difference on pick-up.

Is anybody going to GTi International from Birmingham? I need to get something to Darren at PDM urgently. If anybody is it would be most appriciated if they could deliver them for us. Theres a beer in it for you :)

Somebody has mentioned on the eGroup that there is a relay that can fail. If it does then you get no spark. Anybody know anymore???

Theis is the info from Autometers site:- Are you going the distance? Pack a set of Sport Comp mechanical gauges in your race machine! Whether your car resembles one of the great legends of drag racing or a world-class stock car, Auto Meter puts the power of performance in your dash. Professional racers prefer the bold 270deg “full sweep†for maximum visibility under the most demanding conditions. £39.38 is a good price. I'm just waiting for a price from across the pond!!!

Chris VR6nos, I was in the process of speaking to a bloke in the States who calls himself the 'Gaugeman' but it might turn out that 'vwspeedshop' is cheaper. How much can you supply them for???
-
These are the ones i'm looking at now. Much cheaper and will still look the dogs danglies :D dubboy, as GazzaG60, says 52mm equiv, 2 1/6 inches.
-
Where did you get the chip from? I would give them a call and see what they think. Or do you know anyone with a G60 local that you could try their ECU.
-
Just realised the ones i have shown are seriously expensive  the boost one is about $200 I'll found some that are alot cheaper. About 60-70 dollars each. I'll post piccies later as i am about to get the sack
-
I wouldn't of thought it was a fuse but you never know. Is the engine turning then but with no spark?
-
The boost gauge is back lite. The AF one doesn't need lighting as it lights up anyway :D
-
You could try putting the old chip back in. Shouldn't take long now you know what your doing.

The phatom series are white which don't look as good with the standard dials. IMHO Here is a vacuum one.

I'm thinking of trying to set up a group buy for Autometer gauges from the states. Before i start i thought i check who would be interested. The gauges i'm thinking of are shown below. So...whos up for it.

When you say won't turn over what do you mean? Are the ignition lights coming on? I know it sounds stupid but did you reconnect the battery.
-
jimbog60, You may find that the pulley won't come off easily, its a very close fit. Your best bet, if you can get hold of one is to use a small pulley extractor.
-
I had the same. I sprayed the tensioner wheels (carefully  ) with silicon lubricant from Halfords. You don't want to get any on the inside of the belt. Sqeek totally disappeared :D
-
Cheers Scott. Looks like my evening is planed :)
-
Is there a specific procedure to the above? I don't want to cause any air blocks
-
I'm in the saame position as endor71,

Relief :D Cheers lads

I'm sure we can wear him down if we keep at it
-
I'm not sure if this is a problem or the norm but when i turn my ignition off after a decent run the radiator fan stays on. I know this is right but my fuel pump continues to run as well :? Is this right????
-
Maybe i like pain :D :D :D Sh*t, i thought i had it then :D :D :D

Ahhhh so thats how you have got over the delay, because you don't use the WOT switch. As i said in the earlier post (a section from VW devopment documentation of the digifant system) when you hit the WOT switch there is a difference in pressures, to rectify the differences the digifant system keeps the close loop for a certain period. Because you don't use the WOT switch there is no need for the closed loop to be kept. Hense no delay. Am i getting close :D
