Hi Berry Welcome i like you have recently acquired a project a nothelle G60 :dance: I sold my last one 10 years ago and then had a volvo v40 now have an a6 the children are now a lot bigger! Post some pictures in "members gallery" and im sure you will get the answers you need this lot are very friendly.

i believe unity in price will increase the value! but if we have all decided we would like a better return on our investments then publicity is what we need ! how about challenging top gear to a corrado challenge something to get there attention or a vw challenge they liked the alfa one and we all know hammond owns a transporter! if not just keep stum :thumbleft:

Trial fitted my new bumper tonight! need some more bits please steve got a splitter coming from purple tom happy days need some oil/charge cooler mounting gigery pokery and then just need to save up for the painting!

I agree the only way is up man i bought my bay window for £400 was offered £175 for it after i nearly died in it and now it would be worth 10k plus easy t25 vw vans you couldnt give them away and split screens well 30k whats that all about they are awful old things really! So anyway as a second timer there has always been a slot in the market for a sports coupe and were all gonna be in the money soon :onfire: now without whishing to teach you to suck eggs the only reason the rado didnt sell that well was its price tag of 30k now the golf was realeased with the vr6 at 16ish so it was a no brainer although i fell in love with the styling at the launch and feel there is no other 4 seater coupe to match it especially if you have a g60 as its half the weight of those vr6s and sounds exquisite :snipersmile: money in the bank boys sleep easy

When you say it was a G60 does that mean you are now running a vr6? if so the vr6 is a much much heavier engine so dont use the G60 mounts definately use the vr6 mounts mine seemed to sit a little heavy on the rubbers (they are genuine german bearings) but i put it down to the coil overs good luck Dan ---------- Post added at 10:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:58 AM ----------

Hi Clumpy i used peteg40 who advertises on Dubforce.net and it was £26.50 for both fronts and the castle nuts shipped !

Thanks Clumpy i have had a look at national day and castle coombe is just up the road but there is too much work too do by the end of the month and well lets not talk about the rust/holes around the screen aperture and then theres fitting the charge cooler/headlights/bumper/recaros :nono: new exhaust etc etc time and money but panic not shes in good hands and the garage is always open as long as you bring chocolate biscuits!

I have a unknown corroded plug lead! it is a silicone 10mm lead and has detatched from the plug cap from rust! So what do you lot run ? magnecour? formula power? didnt really want to spend 60 or 70 quid on some leads but when the devil rides needs must any advice appreciated cheers Dan
