Yesterday I got an insurance quote for my VR of £295 on a classic policy with all mods declared and a 210bhp limit. Today I will most likely pay for it.

After being asked to make one of these recently as a 1 off and subsequent further interest, I've decided to offer these to you lovely CF members. So the details - T304 Stainless Steel mirror polished on both sides and around the edges. M6x16 A2 Stainless Steel Hex screw with mirror polished head, 2x M6 washers and M6 Nyloc nut. The bracket is attached to the Aux belt tensioner using the existing screws and attached to the BMC CDA strap bracket with the M6 screw, washers and nut provided. There is slotted adjustment to all 3 fixings. Thanks to Cazza for the photos. Price posted is £22.50 I accept Paypal, bank transfer, postal order or cash on collection. Thanks Dave

Haha yes, Mike got very excited about that one and rightly so.

It was a 2000 year car and yes just swap the whole cassette over, on my car the blind is not the right colour but it's not far off. I believe a blind from a Golf Mk3 should fit, widens the choice of blind colours/pattern.

I have an Ibiza moonroof and it fits better than the Passat, in fact I'd say it's pretty close to the Corrado, I had a Passat moonroof in my old valver. If anything I'd like it to sit very slightly lower in the roof but can't get anymore adjustment, it's barely noticeable but I'm too picky. Maybe one day I'll shim the cassette down a touch.

Could be the circlip has broken, lift the gear surround and you should see.

Ok I've had three people asking for shifters in the last couple of days, I've penciled you in the queue but I must stress that if shifters aren't returned to me then I can't send out modified shifters. The last 12 months hasn't been good for returned shifters I'm afraid to say.

It's been queried many times including myself, it is not used on UK VR's, just tie it up neatly out of the way.

Yeah took the part numbers off the guide in the wiki, the prices have gone up a lot since it was written.
