Langsam

My drivers door has gone, handle doesn't work at all but when trying to use the handle itself, it doesn't return back to its original position. Could it just be the spring or has the part that commonly fails gone aswell?

Cheers bryant_andy. Managed to get the uprate loom working, but will attacking the scotch locks this week by soldering and heat shrinking the connections. Thanks for the heads up on the bulbs aswell

I was planning on doing that, but someone in the past has decided to solder the all the wires to both switches.

Eeeeeee by gooom. My passenger side electric window has decided to stop working. But before it decided to go on strike, it worked perfectly. I've had the door card off and checked all plugs, wires, motor but can't seem to find anything suspect. Are the window switches common for failing?

Anyone??

What fuse should be used for the indicators and hazards 5 or 10 amp fuses??

It seems my C really does know how to wind me up, with ongoing central lock issues and of course rattles. My c has now decided to use indicator relays are a consumables! I guess This first happened when fitting my uprated wiring loom and noticed my indicator fuse blown. Replaced fuse and then hazards or indicators wouldn't work after, instead no.21 relay would just buzz. So after a few days I bought a brand new relay from tps, fitted new relay, joy I have indicators that work! I then fitted lower dash trim parts tried hazards again and they don't work, relays popped again ogh fandabbydozee! Any help before I torch it? And taking the uprated wiring loom out isn't a option, that's been a pain the arse in itself to get my headlights to work!

It'd be good to have a few pictures of a standard wiring loom fitted. So I have something to compare to

I got mine from James153. I would as you've said but my headlight wiring has been hacked and messed about by the previous owner.

Hiya, I've just bought a uprated headlightloom. I have followed the instructions closely but for some reason when installing the loom my headlights don't work. I have tried on numerous occasions refitting the loom but they still don't work. I've now had to refit my original loom back but now my mainbeam, side lights and dipped lights come on together in any position on the light switch. Can someone please send me some pictures of a loom fitted? with special attention to the back of both headlights.

Hiya need these parts in good condition with no rust and good paint hopefully in alpine white L90E. All parts must be early C parts. Passenger door, doesn't have to be compete. Front bumper, can just be the outer plastic. Also bonnet aswell. Willing to pickup up depending on distance. Cheers for looking.

Would I be able to fit a non hydro diesel front engine mount?

Hiya my front engine mount is foobard. So Ive been looking for a replacement but I'm confused between which one I should buy. Appearantly my C should have a hydro mount fitted, but what is the difference between thr hydro and non hydro mounts and there benefits? Other than amassive price difference! Cheers

Ive not yet checked that end, are the speedo cables readily available new?

I never really checked to see if the CL worked on the passenger door, when it was working. Ive not got any alarm fitted to it as of yet.

Ahright, I have sorted an issue just like that on both doors. The pervious owner had bodged some of the wiring so I corrected it. Could there be a fault with the exterior door handle wiring?

Thanks Wullie, its rattled my brain a bit, but im sure I can figure it out. So if I run a vac hose from the FEI Unit to T piece off from the inlet manifold then to the back of my clocks, would you say? Where would the grounds be positioned for the clocks?

Does this loom make a massive difference? Im interested in buying one.

Hiya, Ive taken my Early Valver clocks out due to my speedo not working and a few other things. Ive noticed on the back of the clocks, there is a small cast Ali part with a nipple, what is this for? And surely shouldnt there should be a vac hose connected to it? Also Ive checked the end of the speedo cable that attaches to the clocks and its in good condition, why else would the speedo fail? And also my rev gauge doesnt work either, how do I go about getting this working again? Besides these faults everything else works on them lol. Thanks

I already know how to release the fuel flap. It's just more aggro as I've gotta go through my boot now to do it.
