gsf will be ok temp senders are about £10 each from vag fan switch bolts on the top left hand head to inlet manifold bolt looking from the front of the car it under the plastic air pipe from the inlet pipe to the isv valve the tip of the switch should just touch the head wire should be hanging about there some where to check if it's the right wire with the keys out if you earth it the fan will come on not on the car with t/bodys you can't see it .it's under the pipe running across the front of the engine in work at the moment will take a photo and get the colour of the wire when i get home :)

first one fan over run switch puts the rad fan on with the ign off bolted to the front of the engine air filtter side the other 3 are temp senders 1 for the ecu 1 for the cold start valve the other is for the temp gauge all senders the same i think Rob :)

if you have a 1.8 16v then the isv is on the gearbox side of the engine on the end of the rocker cover it has two hoses and 1 plug conected to it if you unplug it and remove the hoses it just slides off the bracket i soaked mine in carb cleaner overnight but been told petrol does same job when your having problems with the isv the car hunts up and down before setteling at the idle speed (around 950 ) sometimes its ok sometimes not new they are over £100 from vag but if its working sometimes it just needs a clean if you have a 2.0 16v i think its the same but not sure hope this helps Rob
-
dizzi side of the engine above the gear box 3 possibly 4 senders (been years sence i changed mine) grouped together some check temp for cold start etc couple of senders the same +one larger one just changed the temp gauge sender on my golf started reading low then stopped altogether on the golf the wire going to it was yellow/red may be the same on the corrado i will check tonight for you if i remember new sender was about £10 -£12 from vag easy change tapered thread so dont tighten up to much and make sure the engines cold

sensor plugs into the blue plug then the sensor is clipped into the bottom of the off side brake cooling duct so no where to clip the plug as the sensor holds it up, looks like its a zip clip to do the job Rob
