we've got spit and polish down this way( in kent) an i need to get my bbs rc 17" referbed, and they said they cant, i'm screwed. any body got any ideas, i'm se london, :?:

seat brembos are 305x32, phat. under 16".

well i spoke to em, and in the engineers report, cos i hit the kurb, they're worried i'd bent some thing, but i only glanced the kurb, slincing the alloy, any hoe, i protested it's not being written off. and mentioned i could fix the damaged panels., so they've said get a wheel alignment, fax over the results, and then well talk about money to fix it, i'm thinking 1000-1100, to get 2nd hand door with mirror, wing and 2 bbs rc's, aplus a paint job down one side. any ideas :?: , paint job should be a mates mates job anyway.

whats the point ah, all that money on insurance, the smallest knock, and it's bye bye, i'm with highway, the brokers are green light, the suposed enthustast insurers. total damage, door wing wing mirror. oh a couple of wheels,

i would imagin you could, but for mega $, as i understand it, you need a donor car pref a golf rally. or pos parts from a syncro golf or passsat, you'll need to cut the whole rear floor plan out. and weld in 4dw one, gear box from donor car ect, big job,. unless your serious, got the tools, and loaded forget your plans, live with fwd.

also went to the crash site today, and took loads of piture, including national speed limit signs and my skid marks, which clearly shows 15 yrds before impact and 20yrds after. and a total clear view from where she was and where i was coming from, fingers crossed ah, if it wasn't for this supposed witness i'd walk it. but she cant prove i was speeding, which i wasn't,

bloody woman drivers, i'm not sexist, really. but she didn't even look, just pulled out. chewed up both alloys and can't open drivers door. but to top it off, the car i over took 1/4mile back.. stopped and said she'd be a witness and promptly gave her - her details, saying i was speeding

single lane b road clear straight and dry, speed limit 60. i was doing 60.

have you tried the ignition barrel.... i had similar prob. check the grey wire, it shoule earth out then 12v, i think,.

i can see an ebay auction coming on, you should sell that crap on there, some kid will buy it, he can put the motor in his nova,,,,.

i did mine. the rear is a welded plate, and the bumper is a toyota yaris ection,plastic welded in, i can help you if needed.

get some big pilers and pull the wire from under the dash, if this doesn't work, and you can't get to the cable from under the.( i don't thinks its posible with out go go gadget arms) then i'm afraid, brake the grill then manually pull the wire. i had to do this after mine snapped. it sucks but .. :cry:

i belive they are for turbo cars as they control boost by controling the actuator, so for a supercharger they'r usless. :cry: but do look sweet.

so guys i know this has been talked about for a long long time and i've read all the topic, but g60 gear box, as a straight swap which is best, mk3 2.0 16v or the mk3 1.9d or hybirds etc., so much to choose from.

16vg60, where are you going to get the remap done, i've been trying to find some where now for months. ? im in surrey.? currently using sns stg5 chips, which works fine. but not sure the water inj helps or not.

mine does it sometimes could be the timing, mine only does it when the water inj runs out, have you had it tuned by jabba sport recently,? only when i had mine done there about 2 yrs ago it really banged when changing up fast. now i'm using the sns chip it doesn't, and yes the wood wood wood wood noise you get is fine you must have a cone filter on or the restircter in the box removed, this will cause the resonating noise.

getting the box out can be tricky, you have to try and lift and roll it over so the diff does n't get stuck, no real answer to it, once the car is on axel stands i put a 7lb hammer under the box, on the trolly jack and pump it up and pull on the box and it kind of falls out, putting it back on is always a bit of a bugger thou :lol: , the f;y wheel should fall out once undone, unless it's seized on,? give it a wack and see.

well on th motor way 70's about right, in traffic but higher. .

ABSOLUTE GREAT DAY, well worth the skive. :D shame about the weather thou, after getting home we discovered my throttle was only opening 3/4 way. bloody thing, and the water injection pump has stopped working, ,, as i managed to loose ALL of my pictures and videos of the day is it possible someone could send me some. not to be put on here , just me, ta. i'm suprise nobody has mentioned my little 'jump' and off track dive :oops: was one of the funniest things i've done , :D :lol:
