  1. i had mine ali welded up. no more noise and once filed and smoothed it looks like it was never there, and no bloody noise..

    agreed at first- wow whats that.

    then its- bloody hell whats that.!


  2. the 02m 6sp box is a huge great beast, and you would need the flywheel and 240mm clutch to match.. there also seems tgo be a lot of 02m diesel boxes floating about so watch the part numbers.

    i'm itching to see this 6 sp box that fit the c.


  3. i need to perminatley convert the fronts to 5 stud. but the hubs use different size inners bits. do vr6 dive shafts fit straight on to the gearbox. then i can put the 5 stud hubs in. ? need to make sure as hubs are 40 each plus 2nd hand shafts. and barings etc. :roll:


  4. the vr6 one would still let me put a fmic on. i've seen the air con ones and they are too big. the bmw ones are similar size to standard to g60's but have an intergrated expansion bottle. so i can do away with mine.( just to tidy it up) and still have plenty of room for my intercooler.( core 600x300x75)


  5. if you look at the 20vt 6 speed stuff. you will need to get the matching fly wheel. clutch and they are fooking heavy. custom strong mounts. and hydraulic clutch. also the speed sensor is different. oh and you need the gear selector off the box. ( they have a habbit of being taken off and not sold with box.?) also because the input shaft is so big. it may need the crank machining down.?
