I have just checked the fan fuses and they both seem to be fine?

Whilst sitting in traffic I noticed that my fan doesnt come on till 110. Is that normal. I have popped one hose and a thermostat housing at this temp so really worried another one will go.

pic to come soon. Is the pipe from the ISV on a vr6 supposed to lead straight back into it?

Also standard isnt for me. Good example 280mm should of been 288mm.

Just touching on the paint side.... My friend does body repairs for a job. He said that a huge percentage of new car have had paint work on the body after coming out of the factory. He said its extremely rare to find a car that hasnt had an paint work done to it.

Hello all, Isnt it lovely to go to your car first things in the morning when you know it has to work otherwise you cant get to work!!! Well I started up the car this morning and it started hunting, idling between 500 - 1k. Then driving it to work it stalled several times. Last night the only thing I did was take the battery out and change the headlight bulbs. On quick in inspection this morning my ISV pipe seem to be bent to a point where it wasnt letting very much air through. Could this be the problem? Could some show a pic of the pipe set up they have on the ISV as mine seems to be not standard?

spotted a moonlight blue? M reg corrado on the A316 going towards Twickenham. Was looking good, completely OEM. Also seems to be another corrado owner in my town. Its a J reg white G60. Looks cool.

When I upgraded my discs on my 16v I used EBC green stuff pads and I got a set of front disc from a company on ebay called CRM. They where grooved and looked awesome!!! There is pics of them in my grey16 members gallery of my old car. Great upgrade with strong spotting power.

Hi Foggy, Glad to see you got your hands on a nice VR6. as the guys said not storm..... but in my opinion there are better corrados you can get that arent storms. For example storms didnt come with recaro leather! Also there are much rarer Corrados. There is a great post on here about a very exclusive 16vg60 corrado

Sorry dood, I didn't see this post. Thanks for the comments, all the hard graft is paying off. The new passat door handles are a massive improvement over the stock ones! As for the brakes, yes the discs were the wrong way round originally. They had stickers on them saying 'left' and 'right' but that assumes the person that stuck them on knows what they are doing! I spoke to BD in the end as I was convinced they were wrong and they should 'trail' and not 'lead'. Turned out I was right, so I had to take the whole lot off again and swap them over :censored: It strange Ive seen alot of disc facing the opposite way at merc world in weybridge? Just a quick Q about your wheels. Absolutely love them! what pcd are they and did you have any fitting issues? (clearance etc?)

Thanks Tom, I will be getting out the sander soon and getting that mani upto scratch. Was pretty easy job a got good result. More bits to do still though.

I was there this weekend for 3 days in mine. Didnt see any other Cs though. Bournemouths a nice place for a day out so you might find that some of them arent local.

I use megs tech wax. very good stuff, gives really good finish.

Was just wondering, What is the power output on your ABF engine? Does it feel like it has alot more torque?

Right guys, The plastic painting is finished!! what do you guys think of the finished job? I think I am gonna polish the mainfold.

Hi there! Glad to see a new member. Check and see if the chains have been replaced. Also with the mileage of the car it might be worth checking rear bushes, calipers, pads etc. Pop some pics up!

Mate awesome looking car. 288 upgrade is coming up on my list of todos. I have known exactly what way the brake discs that are drilled or grooved should face. Yours are facing forward but I have seen loads of car with them facing the other way :confused4:

Its strange how Rotrex is physically the smallest yet has the best output. Does you find that all 3 all as easy to fit?

Just back to super chargers, Obviously there are a couple available on the market ie, Rotrex, vortech, Z Engineering. Is there a particular difference in performance? Is it more down to physical size?
