Whats the fastest you have ever been in your Corrado?
dazzyvr6 replied to surfer.vr6's topic in General Car Chat
ive had 150 out of mine while racing a scooby, and according to my gps the speedo is just 2-3 mph out -
i went from a mk2 golf 16v to a vr6,when i went on the test drive and put my foot down i just started laughing to myself and i knew then i just had to have it..but now im thinking about getting rid of the corrado
-
the one ive got is 32mm,my dad had a socket specially adapted ,because it was to shallow,it a 6 sided socket if you know what i mean :?
-
with the spax kits some people say the ride is to harsh, ive got spax coilovers on mine and find them pretty good
-
spraying is the easy part, you just need a bit of practice getting the paint right, its the prep work which is the hardest
-
both are very nice, not sure on the bonnet vents on the red one though, but still very nice :)
-
hard to give prices really,as it depends on the overall condition of the door, and if its a different colour then it would be easier to take the door of and spray it all over,as a rough guess i would say £150 ish to do the door
-
there arnt any rubber covers on the rears, only on the fronts, and there is very little room for mole grips
-
32mm springs to mind :?
-
do what i did, smack a slightly smaller socket over the head of the allen bolt, then undo,i tried heat etc and the socket job was the last resort and it worked :)

Not to sure to be honest mate, I'll have a look tonight & let you no :D thats a cleaner wax polish you got there, when polishing your car try doing it in straight lines rather than in a circular pattern Using a clean applicator or a small terrycloth towel, apply a generous amount of Cleaner Wax evenly to a two or three square foot section with a straight-line, side-to-side movement. Note: Do not use a circular motion when spreading Cleaner Wax. Work Cleaner Wax into the finish with a medium to heavy pressure until the surface becomes slightly tacky. Gently buff with a clean zymöl Micro-Wipe™ to reveal the true, clean finish of your car (the paint feels silky smooth). Can be used with an Orbital Buffer and Wool Pad. taken from http://www.zymol.com

thats exactly what it should do,the further you wind the platforms up,the highr the car will sit and vice versa
-
or you could get an induction kit and you wont hear the exhaust at all
-
just liitle red x in a square
-
look pretty good to me,pity no ones producing them
-
oh i see ,when i saw the inpro and hella i thought they had started making them for the corrado
-
depends if they have been superglued in place
-
but the lights on the web site are made by inpro and hella and not diy?
-
http://club.corrado.free.fr/modif/phare/phare.htm just come in on the corrado yahoo pages
-
you can get the handbooks from the dealers still
-
but make sure you do it before you buy the car,it might be wise to tell the owner of your intensions also
