same here,only did one section and that took me a few hours :x

the problem with lacquer is all you need is a tiny chip and water will get in between the paint and lacquer and it will start to lift,the only way to sort it is to get it repainted

theres a plastic clip thats proberbly missing,if you cant find one go to the local scrappy and take one off a mk2 golf seat rail

i use swissol,and ive not waxed her for about 4 months and the water still beads on the body work,and hasnt faded any where(well it is red) swissol is expensive but well worth the money

is the engine in a corrado or mk2 golf?will it have the means of connecting it to vag com if its in a mk2?

first of all have you checked the fuses?

you might need to do an ecu reset,theres an how to guide on the forum somewhere,thats if your using the standard vr6 ecu

how do you remove them,just took the door card off thinking it would be easy to get to the bolts but no cant even see them,has any one taken theres off..all i want to do is spray them because they are pitted and faded :?

my passenger light is way out,and people keep flashing me thinking my main beams are on..untill i do put them on and they soon turn theres off :lol:

magnex,miltek,supersprint are all good makes and im sure there a loads more,what style are you thinking about?

you need a spark plug size airline connector,put it in place of the spark plug ,connect to the airline and put air pressure in the cylinders thus holding the valves in place allowing the stem seals to be replaced,but from what ive been told its best to replace the guides at the same time which you need to remove the head to change so i believe :?

vw dont even put quantum synta in engines when doing a service,well not in my case anyway,they always used shell helix,all manufactureers say to use there own brand oils etc to make more money for themselves,if vw made petrol they would recomend that aswell :lol:

they are not classified as cat1 if there were fitted after a certain date,as they were fitted to corrados before that date then they are still classed as cat1
