  2. Oh and not all the different tints are available to order straight from the websight in all the sizes, although you could probably run it by Riley and see what can be done!!
  3. Big up for Neil@Lamin-X, Riley on here, who noticed my cock up via this thread and has refunded the extra postage I incurred and sent it first class too :notworthy: :notworthy:  Cheers ol'boy As for the 'wrap around' I did this on the mainbeam today and had no real problems even without bothering to heat the film. The Blue Optic really gives a white light too Blue optic Headlamp Film (Large).jpg[/attachment:1eb3wf61] passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfBlue optic Headlamp Film (1) (Large).jpg[/attachment:1eb3wf61] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfBlue optic Headlamp Film (2) (Large).jpg[/attachment:1eb3wf61] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfBlue optic Headlamp Film (4) (Large).jpg[/attachment:1eb3wf61]
  4. I'm a sucker for not clicking on two lots of 18"x4" for my indicators/fogs (thought I did!)- that'll be my discount savings eaten up by the second lot of postage - W@NK!!!!!! :censored: :mad2: :bad-words: :epicfail: :( coooooooock!
  5. Previous (only other!) car was a renault 19 1.4 Energy, which blew up at 112,419miles I'm on 190,000+ (bought with 79,000) and no major engine probs yet! 8) 8) 8)
  6. I had to use a set of Erwin bolt grippers to get the banjo bolts undone!! Irwin Bolt-Grppers.jpg[/attachment:1xreyz09]
  7. Optic blue for headlamps - whiter light for night driving (I'm hoping it don't look too gay on a green car!!) and chip protection & clear for protecting fogs & indicators. I can ditch my plastic covers then as they do get some crap behind them which is a pain in the arse! I'll keep my spare set with the beam deflectors for driving in europe. Easy 'on-off' on the train or ferry and you only pay once! My paint work isn't really worth covering at the mo!! It's not really sh!te but it ain't perfect either.

  18. MDF - yes Dynamat - Apply it to the door and re-attach membrane over the top - unless you totally seal the door with dynamat. XXXXXXX- More.......... is more   , but it will make the door heavy so the hinges may droop over time, if this happens simply shim the top hinge forward to lift the back edge, easy.(LUBE THEM MORE!) The door will also shut with a satisfying Merc-like clunk!
  19. Replaced this shield yesterday and it's not cured the problem. Arse Today I took it to my local independent garage and it didn't make the bloody knocking sound at all on the way there, or when Nick drove it or when I drove home :mad2: He reckons most likely inner CV Joint. Sod it I'm gonna buy one and get him to sort it - Can't be arsed doing this in the road in this weather. I'll start with the left and see what happens, unless anyone else has any better ideas???

  22. Did mine a couple of decembers ago - cold and dark!! brrrrr!
  23. Speakers get more damaged by a distorted signal than too much clean power. That amp should be fine, you'll have a gain dial you can adjust anyhow and you should get a better signal than that from the headunit. Think of it as quality over quantity, if your amp delivers more power than you need without distorting you'll get better sound - period.
