  1. Fantastic, I'd loved to have seen that, a video would have been ace!!
  2. Did the paint solvent make the Blu-tac go all sticky
  3. +90% H3s here as well as the Phillips +80% H4s and interior LED festoon bulbs etc 8) 8)
  4. Top work Kev I think I'll be getting me some phillips 80%-ers too!!!
  5. Weird, I posted some pics the other day and they don't seem to have made it onto this thread!!! Try again............
  6. Full beam and main beam are the same thing!!!  The other settings are dipped (full/main) beam and side lights Dipped Main beam is angled down (dipped down) so you don't dazzle other traffic. Side lights are thus named because they are purely for parking at the side of the road in the dark, not for driving. If it's that dark you should have your Dips on, unless there's no other traffic then it's Main beam city................ Rant over :salute:
  7. As Neil G60 has said or you could just get a retro-fit aero blade that goes on the normal arm. E-bay etc.
  8. You can sometimes get 16v mk2 golf lines on e-bay. must get round to fitting mine, been in the gararge for a couple of years!!
  9. Later mirror switches look like this inside......2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfCorrado mirror Sw. change (1) (Large).jpg[/attachment:2yxvzqht]Corrado mirror Sw. change (3) (Large).jpg[/attachment:2yxvzqht]
  10. Brilliant want some for Xmas!!!!
  11. And the resale on an 'uber reliable motor' like any Alfa  is gonna be good? They're probably only low mileage cos they've been in the garage all the time  . I'd take the 4mo Golf any day 8)
  12. You'll love the uprated loom, first mod i'd do if I bought another. Fogs just dazzle, too many light sources at the front of the car. In fact very like the lazy twats that sit with their foot brakes on, just what you need in the dark/wet behind a bloody Volvo 4x4 - Loads of bright red lights. Fecking hand brake is there for a reason CNUTS!
  13. 1.8 valver is 38 front 33 rear at half load
  14. You could also disconnect/reconnect all your RCA leads last time I had a problem this magically cured it.
  15. That's not really much help is it?? :confused4:   Why not 40 psi, valvers are 38psi with a lighter lump?
  16. Using them in bad weather is not the same as posing around town dazzling everyone else i my opinion!! :nono: Corrado fogs are prone to cracking due to overheating if it's not cold/wet enough, ie raining or foggy, and with the price of new ones that should be reason enough to only use them when you need them!!!
  17. :gag: 'Fogs-on' looks chavvy unless it's foggy. It pisses me off that the switch only lights up if you go all the way to front and rear fogs but not for fronts only. I caught a reflection yesterday and mine were fecking on :bad-words: Indicators and fogs 'as they are' for me thanks.
  18. I may have a front VW badge in good nick if your interested. Let me know and I'll hunt it out. Colin
  19. Foam underneath is what any trimmer would do and it gives you that luxurious soft touch :)
  20. No room under seats, unless you're a dwarf!!!
  21. I've got my front end running off an amp in the passenger footwell. The carpet isn't dead straight but with mats in it don't really notice. The vent gap doesn't really affect foot space either.
  22. The smell isn't that bad but I thought I'd mention it because my missus complained when i used it in the lounge!! It doesn't linger but using it in a shed or gararge would be better if it's warm enough. I didn't realise your were doing the whole lot thought it was edges, so............ Blean corrado 029 (Large).jpg[/attachment:3fmcziwg] I quite liked the smell, is that bad?
