  1. If it's a help I used good old evostik to sort out a bit of peelage on my replacement leather door cards. Glue! (Large).jpg[/attachment:2lxlzciq] It's low odour but does still smell!!!
  2. This may help......... corrado wiring diagrams (3) (Large).jpg[/attachment:2ere6rnm] Enjoy! 8) If you need a better pic PM your e-mail, Colin
  3. Errrrrrr no not yet sorry mate. I'll take some tomorrow morning if i remember and it's not too frosty. Uni has been getting the better of me at the mo, and the C, I trashed my rad changing a vent hose :bad-words: and then flat battery woes haven't helped over the last week or so. :(
  4. I think you'd have to go to the fuse box and the control box in the right rear quarter, I may well be wrong. I had a late loom but in the end chopped the plugs off with a length of wire and soldered them in. A 'butcher job' in some peoples parlance but it was a question of time and effort. Did the same with late sunroof motor (that needed a 'trim' itself!) and loom, it all works and it'll be covered up. Not looking at selling it ever so no probs!
  5. As I recall mate the wiring is all the same colours. I've done the swap myself and assume I didn't photograph the window switch wiring because it was obvious! Are you wanting to put late cards in an earlier C or vice versa. Sounds like all you'll have to do is chop the newer plugs off the breaker and solder them onto your early C and swap over the switches and cards. Later cards are much nicer in my opinion, but then I am biased! If you do need mirror wiring pic see my post Here

  11. £40 a side from the dealers with the heater element in!!!!
  12. Could You not just drill some small holes and wire lock it on? Simple but effective! 8)
  13. I've always thought that you need to run the car for at least 20 mins or drive 10 miles to replace the energy drained just in starting the vehicle. The alternator would not have had a chance to charge the battery in 3 miles even if it had had enough to start the C in the first place. The starter could be the problem, or the ignition switch? I agree with Jay23sx that the whine you heard is probably just the fuel pump priming the lines as normal before the engine turns over.

    CUTTING OUT

Sounds like a short somewhere. Good luck, viewing it in the dark may help you see any little sparkage. On a lighter note.....Some fullstops may help us deciper your posts as well
  15. I had filler done first time round, didn't really set it would seem. Two years later it lifted so I eventually found a classic car restorer who would actually do the job with a welded-in plate. Said he'd weld 2", cool the roof with an air-line and weld etc to stop the roof distorting. Great mod, expensive, got the rear hatch hinge covers painted as well, looks good.
  16. Not necessarily, mine clocked 170,000 miles 2 years ago and developed 133.6 bhp on a new rig that gave accurate figures rather than some of those optimistic 'pub boast' read-outs!!!!! It's standard apart from Milltek exhaust, Jetex filter and a Weber Firebreather throttle body.
  17. This is from a well known American manual so drivers and passengers labels may be reversed and is quoted for 1992-1994 SLC which I think is VR6 but doesn't mean the wiring is necessarily different. climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfcorrado mirror diagram 001 (Large).jpg[/attachment:145u1kw2] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfcorrado mirror diagram 002 (Large).jpg[/attachment:145u1kw2] Corrado mirror Sw. change (13) (Large).jpg[/attachment:145u1kw2] My mirrors work left and right ok but the in/out, up/down movements are reverved. Apparently this can only be cured by rewiring the motors themselves,.......if that's your thing!!!!
  18. Is it required for the early 7-bar grill? If so I have one available and you can have it for less than £25!!!!! Not perfect but it has done 80,000 miles!passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfBroadwater fen bugs corrado 059 (Large).jpg[/attachment:1dw71x5g]climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfBroadwater fen bugs corrado 061 (Large).jpg[/attachment:1dw71x5g]2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfBroadwater fen bugs corrado 062 (Large).jpg[/attachment:1dw71x5g]Broadwater fen bugs corrado 063 (Large).jpg[/attachment:1dw71x5g]
  19.  A 180bhp GAIN really would be a Mod and a half!!!!!   That said, a bigger bottom end is a good move! 8)
  20. If it's generally slow it could be knackered. No speed adjustment available, replace if you think it's necessary.
  21. Lass at work back in about '93 had a Citreon Visa, digital throttle and crap brakes. I only had to drive it round to the back of the hanger and i hated it!!!!! Minging reddy orange too, dashboard and stalks 'design' were vile.
  22. Looks bigger than the footprint of my house. Lucky lucky bastard!!!
  23. Well it will need cutting, welding and paint. Easy if you pay someone!!!
  24. GPC did genuine ones, Tel 01582 728892 worth a call.
