Thats how they are supposed to fit!
-
Indicators are in the inner bowl  lights are well bright with uprated loom and im using phillips vision bulbs. As for the gap,the way CHEESYS car has been done looks 8) but i dont mind the gap as my airfilter is right behind it!!! It should look better when i get my reiger grill as my grill is made from 3 slats of a f'#d transit grill

another angle

front on

Think i sussed the prob with mine! some muppet who assembled them in the factory, fitted one of the mainbeam houses upside down   gota strip the light unit down and fit it in propaly! mine cost £75 delivered
-
Keep us posted as i wanted to do something similar
-
£60 where from? EGAY!
-
I got my m3 1s for £60 new.The 1s in first pic are reiger m3 skirts from venom retail at £250
-
If your tappets are quiet, dont bother replacing them but do the chain as they are only about £10
-
9a inlet cam 8.9mm lift KR inlet cam 9.6mm lift So should make a difference. When i fitted my exhaust cam in replace of my inlet cam,the car felt a hell of a lot livelier. The exhaust cam has 10.2mm lift by the way
-
IThe only difference i can find is there is 3 mounting points on top of the lights instead of 2! You have to cut em off anyway! I havent taken any pics of it in daylight yet,cos im unhappy on how they fit at the mo. Guna spend some more time on em tommorrow as the adjusters broke(crap design) How much were your hellas then cheesy?? Before everyone goes out and buys these lights,BEWARE they arent a straight fit and although i got mine fitted quickly,Ive taken them out 6times already and they still dont line up well.Im sure the hella 1s are guna be good quality so the adjusters would be designed better than my ones They still look 8) even when i cant see anything with em
-
It might grow on you if you saw it in the flesh
-
If it makes that much difference,I might look into fitting a single butterfly 1 from another make of car
-
Surely it would be an arse to drive and cane fuel? Thats wot the small butterfly is for isnt it?
-
How bigs the butterfly? Heres a pic of mine
-
A hour on the rollers would be cheaper and you would get a before and after power graph. I drove 150miles to stealth just for this and it was well worth it,i gain 42bhp
-
I do have a total closure alarm and yes it all works, was hoping to cure prob myself but looks like i might have to take it to an electrician  keep the ideas comin
-
No it doesnt! when doors open both lights come on (normal and map) but with the door closed none of it works
-
How much were they?? Im still ahving probs getting my aligned.Ive now broke the adjusters

Also upping the pressure doesnt richin mixture.Injectors open at 3.3bar so if you wack 5.4 bar at them they will open easier with a better spray pattern but they WONT spray more fuel!
-
Yeah its well easy.Look at meterhead where all the injector pipes go.Theres a 15mm nut on the right hand side of meterhead.Undo this and you will see a pin type thing with a spring over it and some small washers. The more washers you add the higher the system pressure will run at.Its worth noting system pressure is usually about 4.5bar and you want to up it to about 5.4 bar which is done by adding 1 washer of about 2mm thickness.Ive tried packing loads in there till my car didnt start then removed em till it did (probaly not advisable!!!!)
-
Checked the wires and no breaks. The windows dont work when you push the door button switch in!
-
Are you sure mean shimming the meterhead and not the fuel pressure regulator? You can shim the fuel pressure reg to increase overall fuel pressure
