Just swop the blocks over,they are both the same externally! Ideally get it rolling roaded after to get fuelling spot on

Ive got 162bhp outa my 1.8 for under £500 without changing the bottom end! Dont get me wrong,i want a 2l bottom end but cant get one on the isle of wight! standard 2l are 150bhp anyway you just gain 20ish lbs of torque. o,and ive found a Weber firebreather

something like,the bonnet being earthed prevents interference coming up through the bonnet,like a force field! if youve ver seen under a shitron bx bonnet they are made of plastic and have a big wire grid under them for the same perpose

I had the same prob with mirrors and windows not working.It was 1 wire had no live,il try and look at what colour it was and let you know

im using standard kr stuff runnin 9degrees advance without pinkin on normal unleaded! and theres only 2 garages on the isle of wight that sell super unleaded!!!!

not sure but the earlier 1s fit with the glass top and the slide panel matches the c colour interior! -
think it only smoothes power delivery out and gives no more than 5bhp.Try using the search to see wot comes up

Im using the piper x box thingy on mine! sounds awsome,i did make a carbon fibre heat shield for it tho and a fat cold feed from down in the bumper!

I had a burn up with 1 of these the otherday.saw him in rear view mirror gainin on me and as he came out to go round me i booted it! side by side till the end of third gear and he just got past me as i went into fourth.Dont think he expected much of a challenge and alltough he beat me,it was funny seeing his face when he was along side,there was a sign of panic for a moment!

Ive used engine lacquer,hammerite and a paint called qd 90 which is for fork lifts and other industrial equippment.Never pay over £5 for something like this.

put a 12v meter on battery,live to red,black to earth and see how much voltage you have.now move the black wire from the meter and put it to earth on your engine.you should get same reading,if not your earth strap is broke

Dont think mk3 fit. Ebay do em,get them for a mk2 golf and you cant go wrong

mines as low as your photoshop pic on 17s if not lower,only prob i have is the gap between axle and floor isnt big enuff for zorst so it knocks occasionally :shock: Id go 195 45s as it will sit lower still :lol:

Raising the bonnet at the rear DOES suck the hot air out.that how bonnet vents on rs turbos and cossie work.as the air flows over the bonnet,the draws the air out of bonnet up over windscreen

The brand of the stuff i used was hycote chrome finish.Should be able to get from halfrauds! might take a few coats to get a good finish
