Whatcha listen to in your Corrado?

Recommended Posts

Nightmares on Wax - Very good. However, in the wallet at the moment :

Carter USM - 101 Damnations

Carter USM - 30 Something

Nightwish - Century Child (Finnish Goth Metal with a classically trained singer and full orchestra, marvellous).

Death in Vegas - Dead Elvis

Bill Hicks

R.E.M Out of Time

Leftfield - Leftism

The Big Lebowski Soundtrack

Mozart - Coronation Mass

Mozart - Requiem

Verdi - Requiem (I cannot recommend it enough for apocalytic midnight runs)

The Clash - London Calling

The Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation

Death inVegas (again) - The Cantino Sessions

Portishead - Portishead

Garbage - Garbage

The Best of Euphoria

Nina Gordon - Tonight and the Rest of my Life

Veruca Salt - Resolver

Carter USM (found another one) - Starry Eyed and Bollock Naked, a collection of B-sides

Might be time for a clear out, but at least I know where all my CDs have gone

i have allways sort of liked pink floyd since i was in school when my dad used to play a few of the albums

i saw about 5mins of the conveyor belt scene from the wall at a mates house about 2months ago and i just had to buy the dvd because scarfes animation is just superb

unfortunately my dad now listens to dance music all the time (quite odd considering hes 54)

im only 23 and most of my mates just dismiss floyd as "old mens music"

quite a few tracks have been re-mixed by other bands recently but IMO you cant beat the originals if you havent listened to a floyd album before i can definately recomend echoes the best of album as it covers most of the styles floyd went through

This thread is quite interesting as most members seem to be fans of late seventies rock and the eighties indie scene. Most could be explained by similar age grouping but even the younger early twenties types are listening to the brilliant Roger Waters autobiography - The Wall.

And I thought everyone was listening to Hearsay and Darius etc......... Or maybe that just non Corrado owners :!: :!:

Must admit I've never been a big Pink Floyd fan. I tried...although maybe it was something to do with my mates from Uni just boring the fecking arse off me about them every time 'music' came up as a topic of conversation :)

My favourite run has got to be the A59 late on a Wednesday night on the way back from Fencing. Pumped to the gills on adrenaline, at the wheel of a speeding Corrado with Choral music turned up loud (but not so loud you can't hear the engine :D :D ).

What do I listen to? Squeaky brakes, miscellaneous rattles and the dull *thud* of things falling off mainly. :D

its mind bomb although soul mining is an excellent album

Well it ain't written in the papers, but its written on the walls

The way this country is divided to fall,

So the cranes are moving on the skyline--

Trying to knock down--this town

But the stains on the heartland, can never be removed,

from this country, that's sick, sad, and confused.
