Is it just me or does this sound dodgy ?

Hey all,

 

As many of you will know I am trying to sell my G60 at the moment. I received this email today to my hotmail account and tbh, sounds a bit dodgy. Anyone any ideas or opinions ?

Yep, a total scam.....go along with it for a laugh though and use equally poor English in your reply and start suggesting using a friend's bank account under the name of Smith etc and they'll think they're scamming a scammer!

There was a good article on the BBC news webby about Phishing the Phishers. "The Church of the Painted Left Breast" springs to mind!

Forget about the bad English, @yahoo email address (might as well be @im_a_scammer) and the most likely fake name, I woudnt sell my car on the pure principle of them clearly not knowing anything about it - "let me know maybe it using dessle or petrol".
